Tech played us tough last time. And UT didn't have a great midweek game last week, then relied on big inning comebacks against Mizzou. The L was coming. Now they have it. Let's see what they do with it. It's Bama Week. Need a sweep!
Any insight on JJJ's tweet, or nah?

Can’t wait to watch a safety try to cover Squirrel in the slot. I’m at work thinking about these things. I probably need help.
If they play off, he will toast them, but I suspect the strategy will be to press and manhandle him. All that speed is for naught if they can just grapple him to a standstill for a split second.

From a poster on VQ:

We still have 4 less losses than #2 Miami Hurricanes. And, oh, Miami lost a game to Harvard earlier in the season who is just 13-13 right now.

5 less losses than #3 Oregon State, who lost a game to Grand Canyon.

6 less losses than #4 Texas Tech who dropped two in a row to Grand Canyon.

7 less losses than #5 Oklahoma State who lost to Sam Houston and got swept by Gonzaga.

Even the best baseball teams lose plenty of games to teams that are inferior on paper. And a lot of these smaller schools have the talent and the right pitcher on the right night to knock off a big dawg every now and then.

We were one win away from tying the all-time SEC winning streak and the opponent standing in the way was 17-12 TN Tech. I do not think losing this game was good for us. I think winning it would have been better for the program. Those records are hard to get and UT doesn't have many of them. But... on to Bama.
