Anybody with a brain that has a little understanding and knowledge of the game knows it will be a miracle if he makes the cut.I was going to go Friday, but decided against it. I’m glad he’s back. It’s good for the game, but that’s ALL anyone is talking about. If he makes the cut, it’ll be a miracle.
He ain't making the cut. It will be a miracle, a absolute beast of an accomplishment if he makes it, especially on that hilly course.I would classify him winning this weekend a miracle, but not making the cut, in my opinion at least. From listening to people that were at his practice rounds they said he looked really good. It’s going to come down to can his leg hold up for an entire weekend walking and playing that course, which I don’t think it can. But can it hold up enough for two days and can he play well enough for two days? I wouldn’t ever bet against him in that scenario. We will see though, its going to be very tough for him.
For reference with betting odds, they put him at basically 50/50 for making the cut… at least according to DraftKings.
In my mind...It's not just the fact it will be his first real competitive golf match since a catastrophic accident, it is all the huge drops and rises in elevation on that course, especially the downhills...plus there is something I have not heard mentioned, there are several sidehill lies that will put tremendous pressure on that leg. There is no getting around those shots.Last I saw Vegas odds were roughly 50/50.
Sounds like easy money if that is true. But I know near nothing about golf.
