In Deus' defense, if Morgan Wallen was trying to say Lane Kiffin isn't good enough to be a head coach, why not just be cold-blooded enough to say it, instead of couching it in a poorly worded backdoor dis attempt.

I can easily see how a person would read the tweet and take it as an insult to our current OC, even though I don't think it was meant that way.

First time I've heard it. I'm not a big fan of country which is a shame (because roots y'all) but I've been learning to appreciate it. It's amazing how clever his lyrics are. I bet most folks think he's talking about Rocky Top when he belts out that she knew every word to the fight song but VN ain't most people. :)

Cause kiffin is a prick, and u must talk to them in a language they understand.

How funny would it have been if Morgan said hey coach ... u ain't good enough to be no HC, just an offensive coordinator

Then we'd be hacking on Morgan

Then say something like, "Hey @Lane_Kiffin, why don't you keep my name and music out of your mouth until you're ready to come back to Knoxville and be an assistant coach"

I mean, LK tweets YOUR music playing at his practice, and you tweet that your favorite team's coach is "looking for a quality OC" (which he's not). It's stupid.

It was a burglary call and most of those are well after the fact (no suspect present just come take a statement). No reason to drive like a maniac unless there was an active situation where someone's life is on the line. Police vehicles are designed to take out civilian ones. It's devastating when they hit regular cars.

Morgan wasn't saying that he literally was, he was using hyperbole to make a point that Hype obviously has oc's that lane wants, and if he needs one that bad, he could always become one

So Kiffin's trying to hire Golesh? I hadn't heard about that. If so, it makes a teeny-tiny little bit more sense...but not much.

For as good of songwriters as county music has, I guesss hyperbole is their weak spot, because what he said in the tweet is stupid and doesn't have any sort of explicit or implicit logic.

That song is super-inauthentic lyrically. So much so that it's almost a study in clashing genres. It's like a writer for hip kids in folk and alternative was given a country assignment. I know music is a mishmash now more than every but that song really does suffer an identity crisis. His football song, OTOH, is firmly rooted but that one isn't.

LarvaLur was a godsend for cockroaches…so of course they discontinued it. I order one bottle of Termidor and one bottle of Temperin before Summer. The former is great for ant mounds and perimeter and the latter for spiders, earwhigs and rover/crazy ants (even tho it’s not a target pest on the label) everything else gets tidied up with Delta Dust on a dust mop and Advion/Niban bait in the yard. Any ants get in through the outlets and I set out Terro baits and put a straw applicator on a can of over the counter Raid ant control and flood the voids around the activity. Wife says I pay off the grief incurred signing up with me with this alone. 😉
