RIP John Clayton
Wow. That's sad. He was really good.......and his ESPN commercials were awesome!

SJW Sports hour isn’t your thing?

Politics in sports, whether it's shows of patriotism or social justice, have never bothered me much. I stopped needing ESPN for highlights because of the internet, and I stopped wanting ESPN because interesting, thoughtful guys like Bill Simmons, Dan Patrick, and John Clayton were out, and we were left with mostly hot take people.

If that's what you want to call them....

Urban Meyer has to be the clear leader in the "Worst NFL Coach Ever" contest. Dude didn't even know other star NFL players were.

And this:

Falcons get a third round pick for Ryan and are targeting Marcus Mariota as the possible starter for 2022.

They should also look at Baker Mayfield.

Just read an article that said the Browns want a first-round pick for Baker Mayfield. That's insane. Any GM willing to give that needs to be fired.

Especially after publicly bashing him lol. They MIGHT be able to get a 3rd round pick for him, but I still think that's too high

Exactly. Seems to me Cleveland put themselves over a barrel in this situation. They have very little leverage, unless someone experiences a serious injury at the QB position and gets desperate.

The problem is that they drafted Baker in the first place. They're really not in that big of a pickle and I doubt anything they've said has devalued him much as a trade asset. Baker's own play and mouth did the job on his own. Worst case scenario is one more year of Baker.

Chiefs could be last in the AFC West, if you can believe it.

I think this trade was good for them, but they got worse in the short run. They've lost some defense and Kelce is getting old. Adding Juju helps, but they're not going to be the same team next year. Mahomes has to go to another level, probably.

I can't believe you didn't take the opportunity to say this is what happens when you pay off your QB with big $$.
