Even though I thought we got a bad draw, I really did think this year would be different because of a few things:
- we were red hot entering the dance for maybe the first time since I can remember;
- we seemed fresh and super motivated;
plus
- we finally had the kind of point guard that you need to carry you through bad shooting nights.

But here we are, crying in our beers yet again.
I agree man. I'm sick about it. I'm still at a loss of words.

We 100% had the better team, were trending in the right direction. And here we are.

I hate to give Penny credit for anything, but the way he picked his team up off the deck and finished this season is a pretty good coaching job.

Now they should never have been where they were in the first place, but still pretty commendable.

Best thing to do is ignore the troll. I've McGilled him.
Yeah. I have been fighting the urge to do that myself. I have very few on ignore.

Yeah. I have just about come to that myself. I had 4 people on ignore and took two off and about to put one back on.

Absolutely. We are an inside presence away. A Grant or even Kyle Alexander on this team would’ve been a game changer.
People act like we didn’t have the best 3point shooting team in the SEC

The problem is when you rely on the 3 ball it goes cold sometimes. Even curry has off nights. We didn’t have any consistent paint presence. Uros misses more close shots than any other 7 footer I’ve seen

If KC and Fulk are the only two gone we’ll be fine. Aidoo, BHH should develop more. Uros can give decent minutes off the bench and we’ll still have Vescovi, JJJ and ZZ

Now if we have more players leave….. yikes

@JacketVol love you buddy but you’re lost in the sauce..he’s had one relevant season in his whole career and that was last year…he’s averaged a 254. Batting avg his entire career that’s sub par compared to other players at his position and depending on who you ask they would hesitate to even give him props of being a star.Freddie is an All-star first baseman no matter how you look at it..you can’t replace that.2 years ago he almost single handedly beat the Dodgers because he was the only spark in the lineup..you all will miss him being on the roster trust me…this isn’t a Dodger homer response either.just from one baseball fanatic to another.💙🤍 Seager is also injury prone.Stays hurt and isn’t worth the money got.

I remember some early Freddie years of sub 800 ops. Then bam. Think that is where we are with Olson. Freddie is great but Olson is getting there and has some true power. We will be fine. Son was busy today with some high school baseball. Got a save with 3 pitches as he came in with bases loaded and 2 outs and team up 2 runs and started next game and got the W. First Varsity save and win for the sophomore. So bad Vol b ball day but great family baseball game.

Maybe so, maybe not. I think the biggest los with Freddie is his defenseive skills. On offense, he has slipped and is likely to continue the down swing.I think the Braves saved a lo of cap money and will still be scoring a lot of runs. They have a lot of talent and will be competitive again this year.

Olson is two time AL gold glover.

To all the Barnes trolls , who do you suggest that Tennessee that will get you trolls to the F4? Maybe 1 or 2 will attempt to answer

I have no idea. Let me ask you this, at what point are you going to start getting fed up with getting bounced early in the big tourney to inferior teams?

Whatever you want to try to say…but you refuse to understand that it sucks all the time. Good teams can overcome poor officiating. I’ve been saying it for many years now. Not just now. Let’s just ignore it and hope it goes away.

Ok then if it happens all the time you can’t use it as an excuse for losing. So I guess we aren’t a good team then because according to some, this game was badly officiated.

ask Ky. So what you are saying is you do not have a name to hire? At what point do you stop putting the blame on Barnes and place it on the players? Every loss is on Barnes and every win is because the players? I bet you was not saying any of this as they was winning the SECT

March is fun but it really is a terrible way to determine a champ.
Most people do not understand what you just said, people who have watched these things their whole life do not understand that fact. We could put really good 25 win teams in the Dance from here to Armageddon and never win it.

It is nothing more than a crapshoot where you hope your team is the most consistently hot for six games.

I absolutely love this team, they worked hard and made themselves better and more consistent on offense over the course of the season, and they absolutely worked their assets off on defense, which is nothing but pure willpower and want to.

I have been saying in here for two months that this team could win it all, or be bounced in the second round if they had one of those cold streaks at the wrong time against the wrong team. They did their best to get better, and that is all you can ask.

As much as I love Rick Barnes and love this scrappy hardworking team...I hate the worst of our fanbase.
