The other thing. How the F do you get enough signal to pull up stubhub. My 0hone can't even send texts from the stadium

Totally get that. Can you get four together just before the game? I may be bringing my daughter and a couple of her friends to a game this Fall.

well you can't guarantee what price you'll get buying off the street. face value is, if nothing else, a good baseline to work from. Plus i'm not entirely interested in driving 3.5 hours, and walking around for 2 hours before the game still looking for tickets dragging my kids around, when the point of going is to enjoy the entire experience of game day. not looking for the 'best deal' from scalpers. in that regard, i could say what you're describing is "foolish".

which, is another reason the ow game is a good thing for a lot of people.

and based on all that, you can't get 4 people in to that stadium, eat, buy gear etc...for less than $40. you just can't.

Last game I went to was in Charlotte where I spent about $500 to watch us get boat raced by WVU.

I’ll probably hit the Florida or Kentucky game this year.

Pricey but life is about experiences.

i took my kids to the UF game in 2016, it was their first game at Neyland. i spent about $500 for three tickets....the experience was great....it's always gonna be a memory. A) it was so freaking hot B) we freaking won.

kinda the same for me. the rest of the fam pitches in, puts on orange and we generally make a day of it. but i'm not gonna lie, sitting there for that USCe game with my 11 year old daughter and watching her shake that shaker and sing Rocky Top...ALOT....was freaking awesome.

The 40 dollars which is just ticket price which is the only thing different than the orange and white game….. I have done this for thirty years…. Only missed two home games due to work until now when my son plays football on saturdays…. I had to miss a few home games for that…. I know every trick in the book…. I’m not @InVOLuntary and part of the vol navy.

I don’t go inside the stadium until right before they form the T bc that is routine…. If you want to go in earlier than just look up open seats before you enter the stadium.

I'm not part of the Vol Navy either. Some of my creations have been in the past.

If anyone is interested, there is a very slightly used one available for sale. Absolutely gorgeous and is on the river. Has 3 queens and a king master. $500K gets you in the Vol navy.

ok, so $40/ticket, i can buy that for certain games in certain seasons.

but again, if you've been doing it that long, and don't have to travel and spend money on additional stuff to attend a game, then your frame of reference is wholly different than the family that does. so the OW game is a great opportunity to do several things.....for many, it may fall on spring break, so some families may parlay the OW game in to the "family vacation" to the mountains that year...others, that's their opportunity to expose their kids to UT football, and the game day experience..vol walk, band, etc...and it is a lot cheaper when you don't have to spend $300-$500 on tickets for a family of four.

I drive from Shelby, NC which is over three hours….. I did the ole miss game all in one day…. Got home at 5 AM that morning….people were saying that they couldn’t afford the actual games… I stated there is options…. I have never spent that much for a UT home game for 3-4 people to come with us…. The bigger games are harder to maneuver but not impossible… the smaller games are easy to get really cheap tickets.
