That makes sense I guess. Maybe a safety issue with sliding or whatever. Seems pretty minor overall though.

The purpose of the wider bases is supposed to allow the slider more leeway to avoid coming off the bag temporarily. Seems kind of silly to me, but whatever. It may cause the number of stollen bases to increase slightly.

Thank you all so much! He’s home with his Savior he said he did not deserve. Loved “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross” so much!! It was peaceful for him, and we were all with him. And I just wanted y’all to know when I was thinking of who to tell, this fantastic group of Volunteers was right there with family!!!

Just wanted to let y’all know that they are moving my dad from ICU to a room with Hospice. Hated watching him go through this last week, but he has been blessed with perfect health for 86 years...worst he ever had was the sniffles or stomach virus. Neither ever stopped him. We know where he is going and great rewards are waiting this good and faithful servant of the Lord. Love you all! @VOLSONLY

Why is it Stupid? I like all those changes. Shifts suck.

It's Joey Gallo's fault he can't hit the ball the other way. Don't punish the defense because of what's lacking in a hitters skillet. Bigger bases are a moot point. Pitch clocks do nothing for batters taking 84 years in the box. Baseball is a nostril game perfect for background noise as you do other things. This crap idiots are trying to change baseball into is just awful.
