Just wanted to let y’all know that they are moving my dad from ICU to a room with Hospice. Hated watching him go through this last week, but he has been blessed with perfect health for 86 years...worst he ever had was the sniffles or stomach virus. Neither ever stopped him. We know where he is going and great rewards are waiting this good and faithful servant of the Lord. Love you all! @VOLSONLY

Hi everyone, I don’t post too often but I’m in need of prayers. My wife just gave birth to our baby boy 3 days ago. He is now being taken to Vanderbilt for heart surgery. We are so devestated and it’s been so difficult to live with. We just are in need of a lot of prayers that he will be okay and be back home with us soon

It’ll be ok but...life is going to be hard for a few days, weeks, or longer...but it's going to be ok.

My daughter was rushed via Ambulance at 3 days old in Cardiogenic Shock. She had minutes, not hours, to live. Turned out that she had Aortic Coarctation, as well as multiple other less severe, but equally important, heart defects when she was born. She's had 7 surgeries, all of which before her first birthday...four Heart (two Cath, two open heart) and three Neuro--all at Vandy. You would never know it to see her today.

The staff at Monroe Carroll (Vandy Kids) are excellent, best of the best. You're in the best hands possible.

My prayers for comfort, peace, and understanding for you, your family, and the doctors and nurses.

Please, use VN to vent and keep us updated. It helped me more than I can say.

Prayers for all of you Soda! I spoke with his nephew today inquiring about your dad, it wasn’t long after he called me back with the news. Your dad was a good man and I thought a lot of him. Sorry, my heart goes out to all of you.
