War in Ukraine

Im considering the source and I’m highly skeptical of these #’s , but if they’re close… Russians won’t stand for this
Edit: didn’t see @MontyPython post

Again - same post as Monty posted above - clearly someone is getting their talking points from the same place - I suspect either Ukraine's version of Baghdad Bob or directly from the US Pentagon, who is trying to run the heroic propaganda comms for their puppet.

Meanwhile, India just told us they would stay neutral on the whole thing. So Russia can buy and sell nothing but Oil to the west and meanwhile China and India take up the slack. BRILLIANT!

And I will remind that our letter agencies sided with Russian, foreign, and opposition propaganda to stab him in the back while candidate and president. They lied numerous times to obtain FISA warrants. And even when they knew it was garbage in Jan 2017, made the decision for a search and destroy junket to get someone to divulge something, anything, they might use against him. Including two impeachments by a radical House. They guy truthfully proclaimed his innocence for 4 years and these bastards/bit#hes gave not a single shite for the damage they were causing.

There is no reason for Trump - or any American - to believe anything our spooks, DOJ, and federal LEOs say.
That said, Trump should have trusted Pompeo who was an excellent SOS, that literally has no peer in Biden's WH. That's the only fair criticism of him in that instance.

You get 1/2 point, non-redeemable for case or prizes.
Exactly. Trump took Putin's word over Pompeo's. Why did he do that? It doesn't make sense.

SMH. What a mess.

As war breaks out in Europe, China blames the US

A Chinese government official Thursday sidestepped questions over whether it would condemn Russia’s actions or consider it an “invasion.”

Instead, China’s Assistant Foreign Minister Hua Chunying – who repeated staid lines about seeking peace through dialogue and said the situation was “not what we would hope to see” – was quick to point the finger at the US, implying that Washington was a “culprit” for “fanning up flames,” referring to US warnings in recent weeks of an imminent invasion.

“China has taken a responsible attitude and persuaded all parties not to escalate tensions or incite war…Those who follow the US’ lead in fanning up flames and then shifting the blame onto others are truly irresponsible,” she said.

Bite your tongue, China. The US (accurately) warning Ukraine and everyone that a Russian attack was coming hardly constitutes "fanning flames". Jackass commies.
And these are the twisted loons that the left refuses to denounce.

Yep, smart if you ask me. Inflate the numbers and piss off the Russian people to march on Moscow. Show Putin what an actual “insurrection” looks like.

Oh, I agree - our ministry of disinformation is doing what we can for them and hopefully, it can cause all kinds of ruckus in Russia. Won't matter on the ground though. The point is that once the bullets start flying believe NOTHING that any media tells you. Information is the first casualty of war.

If people are being honest, Putin emulated the U.S. in finding a reason to justify this incursion. As I said previously, Trump's praise is not inaccurate. But I will agree it's inappropriate coming from a former POTUS. The guy is an asshat with zero tact, and I want him nowhere near the Oval Office again, He's using this crisis to make political hay against Biden, and if the situation was reversed, I have zero doubt the Dems would be doing the same to him. Hell, we saw it when the Dems used the COVID virus to get Biden elected. Both sides have devolved into politics above all else, and personally, I find it sad. America seems to be losing its ability to unify when we need to, and I blame that mostly on partisan politics.
I agree with you

Those don’t sound inflated to me I thought the first “modern war” would be more costly
If those #’s aren’t inflated Putin should get his victory and then cut his losses because We/NATO would absolutely throttle them. If they’ve lost nearly 800 tanks/ armored vehicles then our last generation Javelins and MLAWS are wrecking shop.
