War in Ukraine

You are F'N stupid. You must be a Smalwall fan cause he tried pulling the same dumb@zz crap on Twitter and proceeded to get destroyed. Basing your entire argument on a YouTube video (from inside edition of all places) that's been snipped and edited to portray a specific narrative is pure ignorance. Go listen to the interview in its entirety on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show. You dim whitted waterheads will belive anything the main stream media tells you.

The reason he called Putin a genius is how he went about labeling the pro Russian separatist in Eastern Ukraine as an independent territory and he used this as his spring board for invading into Ukraine to defend the peace and safety of a sovereign independent country. Russia needed a reason to start the war and that was the reason.

Kind of similar to our weapons of mass destruction in Iraq...

Now go sit in timeout and reflect on your poor decision to support the ding dong currently running our country in the ground.
I have said in every damn post that Trump had described Putin's justification for this incursion as "genius". That is basically, what you just said as well. And I'm still going to contend that it's downright weird for a former American President to commend a brutal dictator with such flattery following an attack on a sovereign nation. Did FDR call Hitler's justification for invading Poland in 1939 "genius?"

I'm basing my entire argument on Trump's own words, and you just said the same damn thing that I did. I don't care what names you call me, Trump should not have complimented Putin during this aggression. That is ridiculous!

Ukrainians appear to be having some success on Russian armor/troops with their Bayraktar drones from Turkey. Problem is they require an airfield for launch, hence Russia's attempts to take them. Per UK reports, Ukraine has repelled a number of special forces raids, but failed elsewhere.

Note in the following footage that the Russian troops were unaware of the impending missile honing in on them. Bayraktars can hit targets from 4 to 7 miles away.

UK reporting that at least 450 Russian troops died yesterday. Hang tough Ukraine!

Toasted Russians

Probably the same place that fed you and the other idiots the lie about Russian collusion and Trump was a dictator. And you all fell for it.
I have never called Trump a dictator. I have said that he is an apologist for Vladimir Putin, and that he is sympathetic to Russian acts of aggression. Trump has done NOTHING to dispel those beliefs this week. To the contrary, he has once again heaped lavish praise upon Putin at a very odd time.

Once again, I will remind everyone about the fact that Trump publicly sided with Vladimir Putin's denial of Russian involvement in the massive cyber attack against American businesses in December of 2020, against the conclusion of his own Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo. Indeed, one of Trump's final acts as President of the United States was to carry water for Vladimir Putin. He is doing it again.

Keep it up. Let people see more clearly that Trump is unfit for office. The sooner the GOP finds a decent candidate for 2024 the better.

Biggest question now what they do? So they have been reluctant to enter the cities like Kyiv and Kharkiv. If they enter Kyiv it’s going to be a bloodbath.

Presume Putin's objective is to a quick Ukrainian capitulation.... hoping that Ukrainian troops will roll over and quit. Could happen, but they appear to be fighting hard thus far.

If I'm Zelensky, I go the Kyiv fortress route. Pretty big city - 3M.

Bring as many troops into it into defensive positions. Give civilians the choice to stay or go. Putin would have to either choose urban combat or siege the city. Urban combat would cause the war to go on for months and months, at a minimum. Alternatively, a siege with Russia flattening the city one building at a time with air power / missiles, would create an absolute humanitarian crisis with videos that would emerge of babies and children being blown to bits by Russia. And Russia ground troops would still have to sweep the city - resulting in significant casualties on their side. This could have significant effect to bolster domestic hatred of and resistance to Russian occupation, encourage allies to continue helping Ukraine, and stir internal dissent within Russia itself.

Guerilla warfare is the only way Ukraine can survive in the long run... if there is a long run.

And I’ll remind you that Putin took Crimea under Obama and now invaded Ukraine under Biden. Which is worse? Words or war? You seem to think it’s words.

As war breaks out in Europe, China blames the US

A Chinese government official Thursday sidestepped questions over whether it would condemn Russia’s actions or consider it an “invasion.”

Instead, China’s Assistant Foreign Minister Hua Chunying – who repeated staid lines about seeking peace through dialogue and said the situation was “not what we would hope to see” – was quick to point the finger at the US, implying that Washington was a “culprit” for “fanning up flames,” referring to US warnings in recent weeks of an imminent invasion.

“China has taken a responsible attitude and persuaded all parties not to escalate tensions or incite war…Those who follow the US’ lead in fanning up flames and then shifting the blame onto others are truly irresponsible,” she said.

Bite your tongue, China. The US (accurately) warning Ukraine and everyone that a Russian attack was coming hardly constitutes "fanning flames". Jackass commies.
