Defense supply chain is a mess. And it ain't just all in China, but places like Turkey too. Good job defense industry!

And I believe the danger grows with every success Putin has. Why? Because as he demonstrates he can stand the West down, he grows more powerful in Russia as his opposition declines. And this will follow for whoever comes in behind him. Currently, I believe if he tried to launch nukes if the West beat the hell out of him in Ukraine, he'd be overthrown before the next commercial break.

This is historical certainty! As despots garner success, the more powerful and despotic they become. The further along this goes, the more likely nukes get used. The best time to stop a bully is the first time he bullies. Bloody noses work individually and on a geopolitical scale.

Well, they have a diversity problem for sure. Not enough LGBTQXYZs in their military. I failed to take that into account in my analysis. Expect their military to collapse within a week.

And people thought Trump was going to start WW3... I agree he stalled them, Putin wasn't going to move with him in office because he was too unpredictable. Biden will play the game and give Putin the time he needs.

There will be another European war because Putin and whoever follows him will not stop. Just hope that Germany does not side with Russia or decide that NATO is not in their national interest. If we had better leadership here in this country, we might have led Europe to realize it will cost much less to stop him in Ukraine than in Poland or the Balkans or wherever it eventually happens. And if Europe led the fight, the right thing would be for us to stand along side of them and fight as well.

A forceful real threat from NATO would have stood the Russians down. I firmly believe that, because Putin knows if he lost a military conflict in the Ukraine, his political (and possibly real) life would be over. Germany and France will rue doing nothing about this in the future.

Solid take on many different views, this is bigger than just Ukraine. Major impact both short term and long term in Europe.
