War in Ukraine

Lol. Do you think Putin affects our freedoms?
Considering how our government responded to a virus, I am worried about how they will respond to Putin.

It's another play straight out of 1984. Having a war and an enemy that justifies "extradordinary" measures.

Literally depends on when you ask. This morning didn't take any caffeine to get me out the door. Yesterday I had to drink half the pot to stumbled in to class. It can't make its mind up of its done with me or not, hah.
Those Body Armor drinks tend to work well for me. Lots of potassium, Vitamin A, Zinc, etc.

The soldiers and their families could turn their guns on Putin.

But to answer your question, yes. It's their fault because they have allowed Putin to stay in power.
Should have revolted years ago when he singed into power him staying in office until 2036. The world allowed it to happen.

Agree. That’s a scary thought..

We're going to fight them sooner or later. It is a hard lesson that history has taught over and over again that Great Powers eventually fight. Should we fight them on our own? Nope, we have the Atlantic and Pacific moats to protect us. This is Europe's problem and they are caught up thinking they can appease Russia.
There will be another European war because Putin and whoever follows him will not stop. Just hope that Germany does not side with Russia or decide that NATO is not in their national interest. If we had better leadership here in this country, we might have led Europe to realize it will cost much less to stop him in Ukraine than in Poland or the Balkans or wherever it eventually happens. And if Europe led the fight, the right thing would be for us to stand along side of them and fight as well.

A forceful real threat from NATO would have stood the Russians down. I firmly believe that, because Putin knows if he lost a military conflict in the Ukraine, his political (and possibly real) life would be over. Germany and France will rue doing nothing about this in the future.

Taiwan, you're on the clock.

In case you were worried about why race wasn't being brought up, we've got you covered.

The bigger issue this time around is nukes. Russia has them, will they use them and who will they be pointed at?
The other issue with the US possible being involved is manufacturing, unlike the past few World Wars we have shipped so much of it over to China that at this point we wouldn't be able to out produce everyone like we have in the past.

Alright, how long before China invades Taiwan?
I think it depends on how the situation unfolds. If everyone sits on the side lines and things look good for Russia, I would think they could do something within a month if they wanted.

Things go poorly for Russia and I think they sot on it for a while longer.

If it were only that easy...

You’ve been saying that Putin and the west are in cahoots...still think that?
