So, does Ukraine avoid a quick capitulation?

If yes, we then have a Russian occupation. Do we end up in a proxy war with Russia - supplying umpteen Javelins, Stingers and other military hardware to them to kill significant Russian troops?

If that happens, does this lead to Russia going full-on retard... WWIII?

Currently you’ve lost respect for some guy on a message board that has absolutely no bearing on any result to any of this but is rooting for a preferable outcome for those invaded.

But you haven’t lost respect for the person that is literally responsible for having people killed and lives wrecked?

Those sons of TN who used to enlist would not be deterred but rather emboldened. They were inspired to protect. The woke recruits are there for a paycheck and think the army exists to serve them.

But this is not our fight. Putin's war against the Ukraine does not threaten America in any real way nor has he indicated any interest in going to war with us. He simply sees us as weak and so will take advantage of our allies on his doorstep.

Social media is not handling this well. There are multiple fake videos out there and there are people misinterpreting things. It is hard to know which videos are real and which are not.

Really love the stance of folks saying the US should get involved for the "freedom" of other nations.

It's a feels-based bullshat argument to expend American resources in the name of directly protecting the interests of a handful of political elite. So idiotic.

They will try but are unlikely to succeed. Putin knows this is time to show overwhelming strength, not just to take Ukraine but to put Nato on its heels as well as to impress his traditional allies and new frenemies the Chinese. Im sure he intends to make this an object lesson on dont F with Russia, with no real risk of a wider war unless our chickenhawk militarists get us involved.
