That’s disappointing. I don’t have many comedies I like this much. Wife and I liked Marvelous Midge Maisel too, but it hasn’t released new seasons since Covid.
Man I love that team. Most fun I’ve ever had watching college basketball.Still got this GIF I made from that game.

Bad beats happen every single night in basketball. He STOPPED. Over/under was 10.5.
Alpha, we haven't had one since. AS could straight up take over a game and dunk on anyone. Maybe JJJ can be one the last few games ? He's got the ability.... just needs the attitude.Still got this GIF I made from that game.

Yep. A friend of mine had moved into a new apartment and we watched the game over there. When we got behind so far, we started goofing off more and paying less attention to the game. I remember us slowly being drawn back into it and looking at each other and saying, "we might actually have a chance!"One of my favorite games of all time….I was working in Georgia with a bunch of LSU fans….. I had bet 50 dollars with one of them…. He showed up at work talking smack to me thinking LSU had won….It was so much fun after I explained that he owed me 50 dollars…. I sung Rocky Top all day long.
AS had a ton of confidence. Some of the shots he would take in big moments, that he wanted to take. Dude just wanted to compete, wanted to win.Alpha, we haven't had one since. It was obviously odd. I don’t gamble and Portnoy’s declaration as the “worst” isn’t agreed upon, but if you view other highlights from the game (shown in that thread), there was suspicious defensive play from Kentucky looking like they were keeping the score down.Bad beats happen every single night in basketball.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen a spread or over/under miss by 1-2 points because a player dribbled it out. Conversely, I've seen random dudes off the bench in the NBA hit a 30 foot jumper as the clock expires to ruin a 15+ point spread. Or a team is down 10+ and fouls with under 5 seconds left to ruin a 11 or 12 point spread. No rhyme or reason whatsoever to foul down big, or shoot a prayer 3 for no reason, or make a decision to dribble or not dribble the clock out on a final possession.
Happens every. single. night.
If he dunked the ball, all of gambling twitter would have said "South Carolina backers in shambles!"

K. Don’t agree but K.Portnoy is just being hyperbolic because Barstool and all of their personalities have to act like whatever is happening in that moment is the biggest thing ever.
Maybe it was rigged, maybe it wasn't. There are plenty of players and refs that can be compromised. I'll never rule out fixing.
On the other side, 34 was just doing what basketball players at all levels do at the very end of the game - dribbling it out. Once they inbounded the ball, everyone on both sides slowed to a casual stance. I don't know if some of the SC players thought the defender was going to foul, but nobody cared about 34 getting behind the defense to make a run for the basket. In 12's defense, 34 was the only open guy and the SC defender was being aggressive for whatever reason.
34 catches it, decides to dribble it out. Probably thought he was being a good sport by not dunking at the end of the game like a jackass. Stands around, and his bench yells at him "dunk it!"
I've also added Worldle to my daily regimen on top of Wordle. It is TOUGH, but getting me back to relearning some geography I got into during college. Used to be able to name almost every country, but when they throw Timor-Leste and Eritrea at you, you realize how little you still know of the smallest of the 100+ countries...I beat Wordle every day so the AI know that they can't mess with me
Ive got an Inkbird sous vide cooker. Its great.
My anova is superb. It’s older than probably new tech but is accessible through wifi. Really nice. Sous vide then a good sear on cast iron or charcoal noice
+1 for Anova. Been a good friend to me.What price range gets you a decent, but affordable piece? I was walking in thinking a couple hundred was minimum, but I'm seeing some really well rated ones all over Amazon for $70-$90. Do you think those are missing any critical options or is this just how cheap the market is for them nowadays? Seem like a hell of a steal for under $100 for something that was $2,000 not that many years ago.
Maybe he's into the Bad Apes JPEGs?I do not understand it AT ALL!! He’s 14, knows all about it.
I was watching Peaky Blinders, drinking bourbon of course, told him to figure it out, I’d give him $500 to start and take 20% return on everything!! Lol
He showed me yesterday the 22k one and then a few others he tried to buy for less than a 100 that sold in the 3500-7500 range but couldn’t bc of the grace period. Hell, he may be on to something?!?
