Kelly has been here what 2 years?
I'm not saying she's the next Pat but she inherited Holly's team and deserves our support until she has time to mold the team the way she wants.

I'm not saying she's above criticism either but some never show up on their wins but cant wait to beat a path here after a loss to highlight her faults. That's what I have a problem with..

It's something that's hard to understand unless you play the game. Have you ever watched the tournament and seen people lined up 20 deep around a green and then you see empty green seats in the front row? People come early and place their seats next to the rope around the green or fairway and then they leave to walk around but no one will move, or sit, in those empty seats. It's the Masters and that's the way things are done on the property. I doubt you would last very long if you attended the tournament :):)

You should rescue a gazelle or a giraffe and name it Giselle. Btw, your post was awesome....it was a roller coaster of emotions from bittersweet, hopeful and funny to tragic and sad. A tip of the hat to you on your telling of the story and all that you do for animals.

I'll support her while she's coach here, which I expect to be a while. However, I have zero confidence that she'll ever be more than average. She either is incapable of coaching any semblance of offense or she doesn't care. The street ball, one on one offense will never get it done. As with Holly, if you're good with just making the tournament and mostly 1st and second round exits, she's your coach (I suspect that's good enough for the UT administration).

As to only commenting after losses, I kept my mouth shut when some were ribbing me when they won a few games. I didn't say a thing after the inexcusable Auburn loss. I posted that these days were coming. Many more losses are headed the Lady Vols way. I said it 2 months ago. You can't be a very good basketball team with zero offensive scheme.

You just handled the battle incorrectly….. my only one is a cowboys/ north carolina(was recruited by them for soccer) She wanted to hang some of these team things up and wanted to by our son a cowboys outfit when he was born…. I told her that sports was my area…. My son would follow my teams only and only my teams would be represented in the house…. She could keep those other teams in the closet( don’t ask…. Don’t tell policy) She didn’t agree with me until I stated that if we just halved everything…. Then that means I am involved in the rest of the decorating including her precious kitchen that she has decorated just like she wants it…. She decided that she was more than ok with having the rest of the house to do as she pleases. 😂

My heart is heavy tonight. The rescue Mastiff/Pitt mix went to her forever home this evening. We'd grown very attached, my wife is taking it hard as she bonded with her. I'm happy for her though.

A couple of days ago we took in a sick goat named Tom Brady, he is in my second bathroom recovering from pneumonia and appears to be turning the corner. He's a dwarf Nigerian who is naturally polled (no horns) so he can't go with my big boy herd because of size and no horns. My only other buck who is naturally polled is Cletus, the son of my goat old herd queen Grandma who recently passed. I ask your prayers that these two get along so I can keep them together. We miss grandma terribly.

I also found out this afternoon that my cousin who I grew up with passed this morning. She was 42 with three children and a husband. She had a panic attack early this morning and when it passed she and her husband went back to sleep. When he woke up this morning she was gone, passed sometime in the early morning hours.

Today has me in my feels again, as my grandmother used to tell me when something passes it is preparing a path for something else to take it's place. Tom Brady will be turned out with Grandma's son tomorrow, she died roughly two weeks ago. Phoenix my rescue dog went to her forever home today. I wonder what God/the universe has in store, I'm always listening and ready.

Absolutely and great work KB5252! We give mostly to rescues and small organizations. We figure the church is fine and we are directly touching lives when we help these rescues and organizations.

Do you help/run a specific nonprofit? If so, I would love to give.
