Volek came in cold and delivered under pressure…Peyton fizzled. So no. Number 1 ranked defense which is part of the conversation.

Emmitt gets a lot of the same when it comes to those Cowboys teams. Deep analysis shows he was hardly better than backups when he was out during those years.

The ole OL 1st argument, which the NFL finally came around to and started devaluing RBs.

Honestly...and mind you Peyton Manning is my all-time favorite player.

But if I'm trying to win super bowl rings and building my entire team. I'd probably want Aaron Rodgers. Best interception % for his career of anyone at 1.3% (2nd place is 1.6%), 65.3% completion is 11th all-time, 449 passing TDs for 5th all-time, 55k career passing yards is 10th all-time

And unlike Green Bay did I wouldn't sit him for the first 3 seasons of his career.

Hey, he ain't lying. But, we all saw this coming a mile away. NIL was never going to result in it being used as intended. It was never going to just be kids getting a cut of jersey sales or a cut of NCAA 2022 with their likeness. The cat is out of the bag though and not sure you can put it back in.

Yeah, stalled on downs; Volek delivered a game winning drive...on that #1 ranked D, after they had been shredded by Rivers all day.

Somehow that OL didn’t turn Derric Lassic and Sherman Williams and Curvin Richards into stars. Jerry tried to strongarm him that season after the first SB. Two losses to start the season later he paid up. Question the depth of your analysis.

Yeah, but end of the day Emmitt is #1 for career rushing yards. I'm not arguing he's the GOAT at RB or anything, he's outside my top 3 personally...and with the same OL he had I could probably throw out 10 names that would have reached 18k rushing yards.

Still they didn't and he did so it is what it is, he deserves to be in the HOF cause at the end of it you play for the team you're on and you still gotta perform.
