Do you not think that how long he played is a part of a conversation? It’s not like he limped his way at the end of his career- his put up some of his better seasons the second half of his of career when he had better offensive weapons. It works both ways- yes he had better defenses than a lot of other great QBs had to work with but his offensive weapons weren’t exactly a super bowl offenseOf course he own every passing record. He played for 4 or 5 years longer than 2nd place. I'm more impressed that Peyton held them when he did than I am that it took Tom extra seasons to catch him.
Nobody said he's not great. But team wins do not equal individual goat. Without top 10 defenses every year, Brady doesn't win 7 rings. It was not Tom Brady who held his last two SB opponents to a combined 12 points.
