I have to vent for a second here. I have never posted about covid on here, because I try to just not involve myself in the conversation. But there comes a point where this is just too much. I am so depressed honestly. I had the first two vaccines. Got sick with “something” a few weeks ago. Rapid tests are hit and miss. I had a fever, chills, body aches, sore throat, cough. Negative for everything under the sun. I know people that have had FOUR vaccines in a 1.5 year period. FOUR. That is ridiculous. And current articles I am reading are saying every three months your immune system will need a boost, if it even develops any immunity naturally from getting sick. So directly after getting sick you should get another booster anyway. Are we seriously on a path for them to ask people to just get a quarterly booster multiple times a year? This is getting to be such nonsense.

Corona viruses, just like flu viruses mutate too frequently for a vaccine to ever truly be effective for any length of time. Particularly, if these vaccines focus on the protein spike. We should have been concentrating on better therapeutics from the very beginning.

Viewership #’s don’t constitute control; that simply says that A) one side tunes into cable news more or B) the other side’s numbers are diluted or spread out over more outlets, which is definitely true. We can all agree that there’s only one cable outlet where one can find a viewpoint from the Right (to a lesser extent Newsmax and OAN). I say to a lesser extent because not all cable companies or streaming outlets offer those two (I’ve had 4 cable packages in 5 years and just now got Newsmax). The Left has CNN, MSNBC and the major news corporations; CBS, ABC, NBC.

They also have Hollywood, and more importantly, control of social media. Facebook and Twitter as well as youtube are leftists and control the narrative and ban you if you don't follow it.

Rumors are starting that there are videos of people dropping dead from this on the streets of China. Supposedly they are now making the rounds on Twitter.

Not saying it is, but I wonder if this virus has been genetically engineered in one of China's labs to be a bio-weapon.

The issue now is that even with what we know we are continuing to hamstring ourselves needlessly.

We are virtually staying the course when we know the course as is does little to nothing to prevent the spread. That's idiocy, nothing more than weak people so committed they can't admit there was an overreaction and many of the people they labeled loons may have been been right, whether by accident or having actual knowledge. Time to pivot and go back to life as normal as best we can. Quit with the divisive idiocy.

This one's special, it can go recombinant after infecting you. Changing its form to avoid the body's compliment system.
It also contains 3 methods of transcribing itself into the human cells. Makes it more likely to be highly infectious. The 3-4% they are reporting is low. My guess is 15% based on how nasty this corona is.

Rapid construction of temporary hospitals isn’t reassuring.

SARS and Ebola didn't scare me. This one sounds nastier. This one has me worried.

CDC gameplan would be much the same as ebola. Identify highly infected countries and limit travel to and from those sources. Quarantine infected people and treat them for secondary infections. Hospitals can decide whether to invoke infection protocols should it become serious enough.
Education about how it's spread will definitely increase. People would be encouraged to avoid going out in areas with high infection rate.
I could not find a specific protocol for this virus but I'm sure the cdc already has it in the works.

This sounds very serious, not like bird flu, SARS, Ebola of the past. The Chinese military involved and shutting down cities etc.

Just read an article from the man who identified SARS and bird flu in China. He feels the reaction to this has been incredibly slow and under reported since cases of deaths have been verified back in early December from this corona. No one consulted the expert.
Jan 25 to Feb 8th is their new year. So travel has been highly interrupted. It's now outside mainland China.

I went back to normal months ago. Much has changed in the approach over the past year.
Some think not enough, some may think to much.
