Whelp, me and the whole family have COVID. WGWTFA.

Going through my house as well. I either somehow have got lucky or a symptomatic or my turn coming as all but me seems to have had a touch of it past few days. Minor symptoms overall thankfully. Seems like everyone i talk to had it this weekend too or had it last weekend. Spreading like crazy

Bills would have had a chance if they had held to a FG in OT. They didn’t hold for 13 seconds and didn’t stop from end zone on OT. They had their chances. Id hate to be a DC in the 13 second spot vs Cheifs. How do you really defend that? You have to play deep or Hill runs by you. Play deep and Kelce kills you down middle. No perfect way to defend that offense in that spot. Any other team loses there except cheifs

High school overtime rules would be better than what the NFL currently has. Each team gets the ball at the 10 yard line. With the new analytics that they use it would be interesting to see how many go for it on 4th and 1,2 or 3 instead of kicking a FG.

how old are your kids? leave enough for them to make it through 18 and pay for college.
5 and 2. That’s the original plan. Have that money in case anything happens to me or have it to where they can pull it out for college if they go that route

I get both sides of the OT argument. As a fan, it does stink. But, it is something that is part of a collective bargaining agreement and voted on by teams. So, a majority has to be in favor of a change. It's hard for me to show outrage when the teams don't vote to change it. But, of course, it wasn't my team.

“It’s all come down to Overtime here in Game 7 of the 1984 NBA Finals. Lakers won the toss, so they will inbound first, length of the floor to go. Magic with the drive, drops it off to Kareem. Kareem, sky hook…GOOD! LAKERS WIN!!!”

“Oh man. Heartbroken for Bird and the whole Celtics team, but they got no one to blame but themselves. Have to play better defense in that situation.”

Not to mention that they had 60 minutes of actual game time to stop them.....

I don't know if this will post correctly because Youtube/VN haven't been syncing well lately.

FF to 21:40

The ref literally says "We are going to start a new game." They all say that at the beginning of every NFL OT as part of their spiel. If you are "going to start a new game" then both offenses should touch the ball, and both defenses should have to "stop them."

And vice versa. Moot point.

The fact is, the way each offense/defense was going, whoever won that coin toss was going to win last night. And that's stupid.

It’s accepted in no other sporting context except NFL football. Even other levels of football don’t accept it.

My viewing of VN is like Doc, I'm on here at most once in the morning because that usually gives me anywhere between 15 to 50 pages to read. It truly is amazing to read that many pages at one reading because you guys will argue about anything.

Apparently McGill does the same as he generally has 5 or 6 posts in a row about what he absolutely hates today..lol

Those same fans back in the day would have complained about the fact that the Steelers won the super bowl every year…parity is good which means free agency is good, college and pro. Seeing games like we saw yesterday is all because of parity
Free agency with no draft or salary cap like CFB is now doing is insanity..it is like they are trying to destroy the sport.

Consecutive posts. Perfection.

Shorter than regular team but that is also part of the reason for nfl overtime rule….. player safety…..
Bubble wrap 🦬💩...I get that during the long season...but not for post season...it is a stupid way to decide a game of that importance.

I think overtime should be both teams get the ball on a kickoff until one team doesn't score a TD....no FGs or even EPs.
