President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Economy? Inflation highest in 40 years
COVID? more deaths on his watch with a vaccine provided by previous admin.
Foreign relations? Joke
Border? cages in place still and free crossings
Energy? Gas over $3
Supply chain? backordered would have been a better term
Middle East? people falling off planes
Employment - close to 5M have resigned

Have to honest, he outperformed how bad I thought he would do. But like Obama said " don't underestimate Joe's ability to f' things up"
Far be it from me to defend the 50 year do nothing political hack known as Joe Biden.

But what could he have done to turn around everything on the list with the exception of Border and ME (pull out and consequences)?

For starters:
Keep the pipelines/domestic oil production flowing, not make mandates that cripple businesses and force health care workers out of their profession, stop printing money and giving stimulus checks, send aid/workers to ports (and I'm sure there are other logistical steps to improve supply -- I'll admit that I know next to nothing about this field), maintain a strong posture against our adversaries abroad, make sure the known, effective therapeutics for CV19 are readily available,. . . .

Keep the pipelines/domestic oil production flowing, Keystone decision was stupid but I don't know when or how it would impact supply in America.
not make mandates that cripple businesses and force health care workers out of their profession, Agreed.
stop printing money every president is guilty of this
and giving stimulus checks, Yes, trump did it too
send aid/workers to ports (and I'm sure there are other logistical steps to improve supply -- I'll admit that I know next to nothing about this field), Possibly...like you, I don't know what options would help
a strong posture against our adversaries abroad, Is Biden's posture different or weaker than other presidents here?. . . .

First place to start now is firing his cabinet members in charge of any of the issues stated above.

Stop mandates on vaccines. 63% of the country is double vaccinated.
Don't shut down pipelines
Supply chain- fire Mayor Pete and don't give position to those who only check the box. Including VP

Take care of those 3, dominos fall into place or other items are avoided.

Agree with mandates. That is his, he owns it, and he owns the consequences.
I could never find clarity on whether Keystone would provide oil for the US market or if it simply transported across our land to be exported to other markets.
Firing Pete would be appropriate simply for the 'buck stops here' element. But, like Keystone, it is unclear exactly what can be done to alleviate supply chain constraints. More truckers and less restrictions are certainly an option. But there are only so many cranes to lift cargo off ships. I don't know if there is a shortage of operators and if the president can "fix" the logistics.

Oil is a global commodity so the more oil on the market the better for prices whether it stays here or is exported. Keystone was needed to efficiently get the oil to the refineries and onto the world market.

Understood. Would you vote for any politician who practiced in application something you felt was abhorrent?
Ridiculous example:
If every party sacrificed 10 year olds routinely, and celebrated it, regardless of their rhetoric, would you vote for any of them even if you agreed with their positions in other matters?
I do not know what possible policies the Republican Party supported that I would find abhorrent. If there were, then maybe I would withdraw my patronage, but otherwise this remains a hypothetical exercise.

Dude, they just recently ran out McCain and Romney as POTUS nominees. It was so bad that they finally had to resort to a reality television personality over Jeb Bush in 2016. Those GOP clowns create the "lesser of two evils" scenario by rolling out these trashy azz RINOs.
I still voted for McCain and Romney without hesitation. They were still each 1000x better than Barack

According to POTUS, he has "outperformed what anyone thought could happen." Exactly which areas was he referring to?

Economy?
COVID?
Foreign relations?
Border?
Energy?
Supply chain?
Middle East?
Employment?
If he had told us what a low threshold he set for himself would 81M people still voted for him?

Keystone pipeline was estimated at 830K barrels a day which by some estimates would have reduced supply the ME and Venezuela by 40%

Agreed. Counterpoint, I routinely hear American refineries are working at capacity (high 90s %). So, how does more oil to overburdened refineries increase supply on the world market?

"Well it all depends on whether or not we're able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election," Biden told reporters on Wednesday.

someone is looking to pull a Trump when his party gets its ass handed to it in the midterms

Biden scrapped the pipeline, so if it would have benefited us, it is definitely within his control and a legit thing making our day to day worse.

Yeah but it’s ok this time. And I’m guessing the investigations and screeching on Jan 6 will still continue.

The ports have been a pending nightmare no matter who was in charge. They are already 3x as slow as foreign ones (thanks unions) and we have a shortage of drivers to get the goods out. The Biden admin and mayor Pete could have mitigated some of the damage by directing good to other facilities but chose to play politics instead.

Should we remind America that if there were 277 republicans in the house and 67 republican senators, they could pass any legislation and override any veto so that any executive order could be overturned via a law

And don't forget California had a Governor issuing mandates that imposed significant restrictions that both POTUS could have overruled.

I've been watching clips of Biden's press conference and ... I honestly almost feel sorry for the guy. He seems like he could keel over at any moment.

I'm still fairly young, but I've never seen a situation where every single time a President speaks to the public (which in Biden's case is rare) his press secretary, VP, etc have to come out and not just clarify what he meant, but actually claim that he said something different than what he quite clearly said. The man clearly does not have a grasp on his own thoughts. It's incredibly sad.
