President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Because there are no politicians out there worth supporting at all?

Not saying that's incorrect, just pointing to the fallacy of using an absolute in a relative world.

You are arguing that politics should only be bandwagon based, not ideology based. Why support the "viable" option that has lead us to the point we are in?
Because a flawed RNC supported Trump in the Oval Office in January 2022 would be infinitely preferable to a imminently destructive Biden.
And in terms of ideology, the only candidate who could ever exactly match my ideology would be myself, and I am not running

These all seem pretty straightforward. Anyone want to argue against any of these?

"A recent national survey found that four key election reforms are supported by more than 80% of voters," wrote pollster Scott Rasmussen, describing the disconnect. "These include removing people who have died or moved from voter registration lists; requiring all voters to show photo ID before casting a ballot; wanting all ballots received by Election Day; and, having all voting machines made in the United States."

Maybe the requirement to have all ballots received by Election Day?

Clearly, Biden & his lunatic speaking VP, are way over their heads in finding ways to govern America in a common sense better way than the former president of bringing Unity & Healing to all. They thought the media would always be kind & go along w/whatever they say & do. Now after a year of continued failures, even the liberal media is shocked by their incompetence.
Ratings and retractions (mainly ratings) make you do honest things moving forward by the media. This is the result to the current administration and left media when ice cream flavor questioning is hard hitting.

Don’t let the perfect become the enemy of the good. If you bail on your party because it isn’t perfect, then all you do is increase the prospects of the party that is even worse
Dude, they just recently ran out McCain and Romney as POTUS nominees. It was so bad that they finally had to resort to a reality television personality over Jeb Bush in 2016. Those GOP clowns create the "lesser of two evils" scenario by rolling out these trashy azz RINOs.

According to POTUS, he has "outperformed what anyone thought could happen." Exactly which areas was he referring to?

Economy?
COVID?
Foreign relations?
Border?
Energy?
Supply chain?
Middle East?
Employment?

Apparently in this instance, “outperformed” is equated to,“he somehow f****d it up even more than anyone thought was possible”.

This is a very good soundbite. It really is. However, it isn't always applicable in our system. Tennessee will elect Rs (especially in my district) for all federal and state positions. My non-vote does nothing to increase the prospects of the other party.
Also, how can a man of principles (me) continue to cast a vote for one party when I see them both equally destructive to the priorities I am concerned about? I'd rather give up my voice than give up my principles.
I got pushed into a corner in 2020 and pulled the lever for Trump only because I knew that the Dems were going to pull every trick they could with the mail-ins. Had it not been for the fear of fraud, I likely would have not voted for POTUS, but voted in the rest of the ballot positions.

I spent about 10 minutes (or it seemed like 10 mins) standing in the booth debating whether to leave the POTUS blank or just vote for Trump... or just cast a protest vote for Kanye.

Most people thought he would be out of office after 6-8 months due to health reasons. So he did outperform expectations in that regard.

I understand that point of view and can respect the logic. I just know that if I withheld my vote every time a party or politician disappointed me, I would never vote
Understood. Would you vote for any politician who practiced in application something you felt was abhorrent?
Ridiculous example:
If every party sacrificed 10 year olds routinely, and celebrated it, regardless of their rhetoric, would you vote for any of them even if you agreed with their positions in other matters?

My moment was similar to yours. I looked at McCain/Palin and got angry. I voted for the ticket and immediately regretted it. "Hate myself" is too strong but I did not respect myself in the morning.

Economy? Inflation highest in 40 years
COVID? more deaths on his watch with a vaccine provided by previous admin.
Foreign relations? Joke
Border? cages in place still and free crossings
Energy? Gas over $3
Supply chain? backordered would have been a better term
Middle East? people falling off planes
Employment - close to 5M have resigned

Have to be honest, he outperformed how bad I thought he would do. But like Obama said " don't underestimate Joe's ability to f' things up"
