Haha facts. Looks like they are completely shut out from the football office or something. A damn glitch! Yikes.
So you don't think this staff actually wanted the guys they've pursued? Here's what will likely happen. Hendon Hooker will be in the conversation for several post season awards. A WR who is CURRENTLY on the roster will emerge as a star like Tillman did this year. I don't know which one and neither do any of the other Nostradamuses (Nostradomi?) on here. The coaching staff will evaluate and develop the current roster and take their time adding whatever pieces THEY think is necessary. Probably after Spring Ball. VN will continue to accuse them of some form of incompetence or another regardless.
And we will probably beat Kentucky no matter what. Here's what will likely happen. Hendon Hooker will be in the conversation for several post season awards. Fans on a message board dedicated to a team are going to celebrate the good and complain about the bad. It is what it is.I may be speaking for just myself, but I think mist of us when we complain (that aren’t chroicallynegative) are venting with the hopes someone will give us some fresh cope to get us positive.
But if it’s bad cope, we get pissed because it reinforces why we felt bad to begin with. So we start arguing hoping we will either:
- be talked into believing it wasn’t bad cope after all; or
- or someone will eventually give us the cope we were originally looking for.
I’m sure we all know we’re not actually going to help fix the problems we’re complaining about.
Exactly why I haven’t donated yet. Someone needs to show me how these funds are being used, who they target, and how we are landing players. Seems like more deals for current players but how much are they getting? How much can they spend on recruits? Are they spending most of the money on the kids and recruits? Lots of questions before I start pouring money in, but we need to be spending all that money for the best possible players and start raking in some talent. I’m ready to help but NIL seems to be lacking for us so far.You know what’s really gonna blow? Donating to the 1951 club and still missing out on all these players.
Sadly the NIL in principle should work well, but in practice the corruption just stays in the game. What I still don't really understand...is how you can pour money into a school as a booster like that without getting something in return.
The owners in the NFL pay what they pay because the revenue they generate finds it's way back into their pocket in excess of what they spend. But I don't see the money coming back out of the school or the college players/teams to the boosters. Or am I just naïve to something else that's going on?
