Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers.

As many of you know, my dad has been suffering from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. It's basically a lung disease where your lung tissue just hardens with scar tissue. Idiopathic means they don't know what causes it. There is no cure other than a lung transplant.

He was diagnosed a little over two years ago, just a few months before my mom died of Alzheimers disease. He progressively got worse where he literally could not convert air to oxygenate his body.

He's been ready to go for some time. He passed early this morning a little after 3:00AM.

My dad and I were literally best friends. He was in business with me until retirement when he quit to care for my mom. No way I could have gotten this business off the ground without him. It's a huge loss for me but I take comfort in that He's no longer suffering.

Again, thanks to all my friends here who prayed or just had us in your thoughts. Please continue to pray for peace for our family. He was really a great man that everyone that knew him loved him. I seriously don't know of anyone that didn't like him.

Thanks to @LA Vol and @Orange Studs who were always asking about him. This is a community of some really great folks here. Thanks, @Freak for giving us this platform.

Finally, if your fortunate enough to still have your parents around, please give them a hug. They won't always be there.

May God grant you and yours the peace that comes from knowing they are in a better place. Remember the good times - they will always be watching over you!

😂I hinted as he was going into the store that I wanted a cross necklace. I got a really nice set of headphones...a completely different brand than the ones he got the year before that he forgot about. Also got a gift card. 🙄 He is so bad at this.
I’m 47 and I know nothing 🤣🤣🤣🤣For most men the struggle is real1642688295988.gif

You've just got to tell him what you want. While we are Christmas shopping, my wife will see something she wants and I tell her "Merry Christmas". This year she got a nice pair of boots. She said I'm remodeling the house so I said "I'm buying a new power tool set honey. Thank you for my gift".

Could 2-star secondary coach CWM possibly put two more in the big leagues?

News flash - he had 3 DBs drafted last year.

I just can't...

CWM's contribution to being #122 in passing D is also duly noted as the position coach over the entire secondary. Does he also get credit for the performances of Burrell, Tank and Flowers? Two edge sword.

One year with a two highly experienced players indicates refinement and better overall scheme fit, not development. Jury is still out on CWM if we measure his success by position group and team performance. Add in recruiting.

Hope he gets it done. Too early to know IMO. Need to see how the young guys improve individually and as a group as well as who he signs over time.

My wife and I donate money to charity in each other's name. Both of us have everything we need and are blessed beyond measure. We made the commitment a few years ago (after the kids left the house) to stop worrying about buying for each other and start giving back to our community. Over the past few years alone, we've donated several thousand dollars to St Jude, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and local children's and animal charities. The satisfaction we receive from giving to others far outweighs the value of a power tool or necklace.

Burrell, Tank, and Flowers all improved in this year's defense though. I'm not sold on the defensive staff etc. but I also want to see how that side of the ball looks in year 3 or 4 when they have the depth and the roster flipped to majority their guys before I pass judgement.

Burrell single-handedly lost us the bowl game. Dude is dog 💩

Take a lap for your comment about Pete Rose. Keep that lowlife out of the Hall. Amazing player, fantastic hitter, massive douche.
Pete Rose is one of the greatest baseball players of all time and played the game with everything he had. His morality, or yours and everybody else's for that matter shouldn't have a dang thing to do with it.

It isn't a "really nice guy, perfect person" honor.
