Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

So my 1 year old granddaughter was scheduled to have tubes put in her ears today but tested positive for covid so they couldn’t do it. They won’t reschedule for 21 days, they are going to let a 1 year old baby stay in pain because of a stupid policy.
Is she even sick? More than likely a false positive.

Pure evil at this point.

It does make some sense, but I believe it was worded wrong for the purpose of making people upset.

We're going to see a shift from shareholder capitalism back to stakeholder capitalism. That's how you restore trust in the system for the largest amount of people: businesses that show their workers they value their labor and loyalty, then the workers use that good faith to encourage purchases of that product.

Stakeholder capitalism doesn't hang shareholders out to dry. It re-centers the workers who make the profits happen and build company worth in the first place.

Sounds a bit like democratic socialism.

Stakeholder Capitalism is how Henry Ford turned his little automotive company into a juggernaut. His factories made quality vehicles and he paid his workers so they could afford the goods they made.
I understand that. However this or “accountable capitalism” is the talk of democratic socialists to soften their entry into the mainstream. And democratic socialist goal is “We want to collectively own the key economic drivers that dominate our lives, such as energy production and transportation.”

Funny how you're taking "pay workers enough they have company loyalty" and riding it all the way to Venezuela.

It’s literally a quote from the democratic socialists of America website.

I wish employers would willingly do better at taking care of employees on their own (bezos, musk, et al). But I am quite wary of government solutions in general.

Another idiot CEO out of touch with his customer base. Who does he think is buying Carhartt clothing white collar office workers in NYC and other large metropolitan areas? 🤡
They’re getting Twitter support from people that look like they’ve never mowed a lawn. This is going to cost them.

That CEO should call up the CEO at Dick’s Sporting Goods to prepare and gauge what the revenue cost is for dumbass virtue signaling and ignoring your customer base.

You’d be surprised. I live in a place north of the city that is a haven for weekenders. They come up all decked out in Carhartt trying to fit in. Except it just makes them stick out.
