Again. Hyatt and Keyton. On the D line because of a guy like Trembley Omari didn't play a ton. At RT we could've started Crawfords development or focused more on Davis.
Mhmmm totally going to happen. Come play for free at TN or take 600k to be depth at Ohio State for 3 years then play 1 year and go to the league.
100%
They find these guys that get spit out of the UFC. Not necessarily on hard times, but looking around for what they'll have to do next. Then he gets them paid via contract, with points on the PPV money. On top of that, he basically tells them he doesn't care how they lose. So the opponent can figure out a creative way to put money on when/how they'll lose. Then they never have to work again.
Askren all but said aloud that he was paid more than he ever made in the UFC, and will ever make, to take the fight and lose.
It's really weird. It's like watching two rich kids get to play out some elaborate fantasy, while being enabled by everyone. Strange.
There are plenty of fighters that would take either of the Paul's heads off for free. Just for love of the sport, or the publicity, or because they're flat out crazy. The Paul brothers avoid those guys completely.
Ali was not a power puncher; he was a ring tactician. I'm not sure who would win between Tyson and Ali in their primes, but Ali proved he could absorb big punches when he fought a young George Foreman. And Tyson had that shock absorber neck that just allowed him to shake off punches. Both fighters were quick. So I don't know.Ali was known for that tactic but that wasn't his only tool in his bag. When he was at his prime he was a force.
I would love to see Ali vs Tyson, or cross-generational greats at their prime have that battle. In my opinion, Ali is the greatest heavyweight of all time.
