Ali was fast, and smart. Foreman was total package. But lacked training regimin of Ali. Ali was greatest, but would have been railroaded by Tyson. Now, take Ali in his prime and put him in a modern S& C prog. Tyson would get kilt, always struggled with reach.

He was not very impressive as a passer but he ate us up (like many did) on the QB runs.

If we can shore that up with better linebacker play, he doesn’t worry me in the least.

Especially considering he’s lost his top two receivers in Robinson and Ali.

LB wasn’t the only issue on our run plays but it certainly didn’t help. We had DL pushing to far up field and giving running QBs the running lanes.

It sucks but all three of those guys are day one starters at Bama so I can’t blame them for going there. A lot of us were thinking we would be able to get our picks of the litter with regards to transfers but the fact of the matter is we will always have to compete with the likes of Bama and UGA for the best guys and this year we also have to deal with UF, LSU and Oklahoma who are all going to take the max amount of transfers.
