Every coach we get, people lament about how good/bad they will recruit.

And every coach we get... Recruits to virtually the same exact 247 team ranking. Heupel will likely exceed that next year because he's done what none of the others could do: win some games in the 1st year and prevent staff turnover.

I also think while the average ranking is similar to how it typically is, Heupel did manage to get some culture guys here that are clearly smarter than average wet sack of hammers which is not the norm in the SEC.

He was not very impressive as a passer but he ate us up (like many did) on the QB runs.

If we can shore that up with better linebacker play, he doesn’t worry me in the least.

Especially considering he’s lost his top two receivers in Robinson and Ali.

And if they don’t need anything, maybe they can lend us some stuff 😂

Come on! We can take over this state. Basically our birthright…just a few key points to win Texas vs Tennessee arguments: we were a University before they were even part of the US (as a state), we beat Santa Anna (who was owning Texas), and my personal favorite against longhorns We are the real UT, our graduates fought in the Alamo (prove me wrong 🤠)…there wasn’t even a college in tejas when we saved texas. Doesn’t hurt to throw in The Vacas of Universidad del Norte Mexico ( what the longhorns would be called without us) Most tea sips (longhorns) don’t actually know much about the state history, football or really much of anything…just think liberal cow and you have the gist of their intellect.
In a pinch, a group of Aggies will rally behind you. Or Texas Tech Red Raiders, or just about any collegiate group, the longhorn hate is akin to the gator hate in the SEC…
