Coronavirus (No politics)

Tested positive yesterday - double Pfizer. I have a runny nose and a little fatigue. Trying to decide if I am going to work out today LOL

That is embarrassing. I rarely click these but are they all this pathetic?

The #pepsiapplepiechallenge tag was a nice touch though
Clearly you are against everything I post but you continue to criticize. I guess that makes you feel better.
Everything is not about you.

This isn’t the political forum. Keep it out of this thread.
Political? What about my post didn't fit this thread?

I simply responded with a critique of the TikTok you posted and quoted that video. He's the ones who made the claim about omicron If you don't believe it fits the thread then maybe you should remove yours.

By calling it “the sniffles” you are denying it’s anything to worry about while it’s impacting the entire world.
That’s what deniers do, downplay it.

And that's not allowed in this thread? No criticism of TikTok vids?

If you read the reports from around the world then you know omicron has the same symptoms as the common cold. That's not denial

COVID-19 in Florida: New case average triples in a week as state reports 18,404 new infections from the weekend

It's most definitely here but those getting it are not ending up in the hospitals, much less ICU.

Harris County / City of Houston COVID-19 Data Hub
Vaccines have greatly changed the trajectory of someone who gets COVID and seems to be resulting in much lower hospitalization rates. While Omicron is proving to be more transmissable than Delta, we still don't know how hospitalizations will be impacted by the new variant. Much will be decided in the next 2-3 weeks as we see what hospitalizations look like after the holidays.

Non-vaxxed aren't getting severe symptoms either.

Four out of seven people in one department have tested positive. I'll assume its the new variant.

It's an issue for businesses, still. Half the shift is out at a time when we really need them.

Not to mention the fact the people I know who have it feel like road kill, but nobody has been hospitalized and I am extremely thankful for that.

I'm most worried about one of them whose husband is fighting cancer, and doing chemo. She could use your prayers if you're a praying person.

Prayers sent to her and her husband. It really is amazing how quickly omicron is spreading. In about 1 week it has replaced delta in this country to become the dominant variant.

I have a staff in STL, and my assistant is getting over it, along with her 11 yr old and her 21 year old. Her husband had a massive heart attack in 2019, and this crap has terrified them since it started. By God's grace they have kept her husband from getting it.

I have no feelings for the ignorant masses who are so cavalier about this virus.
