The argument over books being made into movies started with Jeremiah Johnson
for me. The book was fantastic the movie ok. Maybe it’s the actor cause Robert Redford absolutely
destroyed The Horse Whisperer.

I didn't realize it was based on a real person until much later. Liver-Eating Johnson - killed Crow Indians and ate their liver. They left that part out of the movie.

Brilliant.

And how. Their writing is so strong. Fun fact, friend of mine did location scouting and prop work for them on a couple of films. It’s why Holly Hunter mentions Cookeville in the Woolworth’s in O’ Brother.
