Wtf is this Key Plays you keep yapping about? Is it a specific channel on YTTV? Is it a ESPN thing? If it is not, who does YTTV get the content from?

It’s a feature YTTV has where when you click on a sports broadcast you can start from the first, join live, or catch up by just watching key plays.

I pushed mine today at bought Hulu for the jowl games. Hopefully YTTV gets it figured out w disney

Has anyone tried Sling TV?

Sounds like it may be a good option. Sling Orange (1 stream) + advanced sports comes out to $48/mo. Still don't see if it has Key Plays feature though. Does no one else offer such a thing?? It seems like such an obvious feature for sports.
I have used since it started. I like it. Only one stream, but my wife does not use it. She does Hulu or Netflix. I have antenna for local channels.
I cancel it after basketball season and start back for football. They usually offer a one month discount to start back

Nil deals are essentially advertisements for companies. Would you want to sign someone who would back out of the biggest games so they could get ready for the NFL.
I don't like NIL in general. At least not in its current form. I played college ball, and yes a little extra scratch would have been helpful to all of us, but giving $100,000+ to 18-19yr olds to advertise your business once a week on instagram is absurd. The majority will never sniff the NFL, so what incentive is there to excel in the classroom if businesses/boosters are handing you more money than the bulk of people with degrees make?

Agree totally, crazy all of this talk about NIL. My nephew plays online for division 2 school and him and 2 others have a deal set up with a local nutrition center. They get a couple protein shakes a week, a code they can give out and a percentage of all sales with the code …. 40 to 50 bucks every two weeks.

It’s an awesome feature on YouTubeTV. If you have a game recorded you can catch up to it life through key plays of the game to that point.

That's what the intent was initially, but they rushed it and let Congress (who has no clue about college athletics) implement it. They opened Pandora's box and will possibly destroy amateur athletics as we know it.

SIAP, but why did the BB game get cancelled?

There’s too many changes all at once here and it’s obvious that no one thought 3 steps ahead at the unintended consequences that would arise.

For instance, would any of us say it’s a good thing that over 2000 young men essentially give up their full ride to enter the transfer portal (a lot of the times through bad advise from adults around them) and there will be be a large number that end up no where, essentially losing an opportunity that was granted to them? There will be some horror stories come out on this in the next few years.

Cool play in the BYU/UAB game. BYU goes read option left with the line, QB and RB. TE/HB stays to pretend block, then turns right along the LOS. QB shuffle passes to him. Wide open long gain to the one yard line.
Been a close one....also feel great We showed We deserved the game we got instead of one of these realll early bowl games !

Agree 100%. Far more negative than positive.

Only been watching since halftime but what I have seen from the LV is that Horston is the MVP for Stanford , she cant score and is a turnover waiting to happen

It's not a hill I'm gonna die on, but I do think student/athletes should have the opportunity to gain a collegiate education in different aspects of each sport.

Not simply for playing. If a player wants to attend college and be trained to be a coach or anything related to the sport, it should be an option.
If you stay in ROTC four years, you get 4-6 hours a semester for military science.

And catch up to the European model…which has done fine for decades.

Asking because I don't know. Is paid education plus perks part of the European model?
You don’t forfeit your amateur status playing club level teams. You can be sponsored as soon as you can kick a damn ball. Diapers don’t disqualify. If you want an education it’s well subsidized.
