The Lady Vols have do well to this point. Falling behind and coming back to win, albeit against average or below average teams still shows something. I still don't think they'll be anything other than a 15-20 type team when it's all said and done. If that's your expectations then Kelly's your gal. I suspect that level of performance is perfectly acceptable for the UT administration which is all that matters.
They have two top 15 wins and are playing without their all-American….. she has done an amazing job…. We can complain if things go sideways.

what's more frustrating to me is watching the Miami hurricanes have just as inept if not more athletic dept and train wreck coaches for years. now all the sudden they throw all this money at a new AD and getting the coach they want and showing that money does talk. they are going to pay 8 million a year to the coach THEY wanted more than anyone else. don't tell me we couldn't have done that post fulmer. I think it speaks to how terribly run we have been for years.

It wasn’t just about money for Cristobal. Oregon would’ve paid him $8.5M just to keep him.

He wanted to be back in Miami.

Billy Napier All Time Recruits

Have at it, no one impressive while at Clemson that he was primary on. For a guy who primarily was an offensive assistant he has a lot of work with recruiting defensive players though...which is weird.
The ones at Clemson are kinda meh, with the exception of Tajh Boyd... he was also at Clemson before they really rose to power, which I'd forgotten.

But, he certainly has had impressive recruits at prior stops (Bama). Screenshot_20211206-110100_Samsung Internet.jpg

It is absurd.

They're totally trying to make up for not being able to host the bowl last year. $$$$$$
Was looking at club seats last night, and they were 2-250 ea, 400+ this morning.
My 11 yo HATES cold weather, and so do I frankly, so wanted something to get him warmed up when needed. Eff that tho!!
Would be a $4k weekend woth tickets, hotel, etc

We made a move at the perfect time. We would have had to empty the bank for a coach right now. Thank goodness we got JH when we did.
Seriously. Glad some change was made because a portion of the admin wanted to keep Poot around despite them knowing he was a disaster.

They made the best decision. This year would’ve been awful. 4 wins and having dole out 10 million for someone like Sonny Dykes

I understand that, but the point still stands they are about to make the Clemson AD the highest paid AD in the country and are about to pay double what we have ever paid a coach. With the SEC money coming in and being a blue blood program we should have never been in this situation in the first place. It is still utterly shocking we went from Fulmer to (dooley - butch - pruitt) its literally nightmare after nightmare.

Honestly...you should just get some basketVOLS tickets instead.

Jeremy Pruitt should never be hired as a HC again, and never should have been hired into that position in the first place; but, as a DC, he's one of the best, if not the best, there is in college football.

The last I'm saying. If you disagree, take it up with Nick Saban...or Jimbo Fisher...or Mark Richt. Combined, those three men have more football knowledge in their collective pinky finger, than all the people who would argue with them.

I’ve said it before, unless you can bring in talent like Saban does (ala Kirby) the Saban assistants are largely fools gold. Pruitt is no different. The first time he went to a place without a decided talent advantage every week he flopped. He flopped BIG.

The one thing that impressed me most about Pruitt was the 2019 Bama game. He had them on the ropes and momentum was continually stolen from him by the officials. But outside of that, he is a big dose meh.

Mississippi State is in the SEC…. I hate Miss St but can’t believe you compared recruiting there to recruiting at Louisiana haha.

Huepel never broke the top 60 at UCF and he will prolly get a top 20 class this year. You don’t know how good or bad Napier will be at recruiting until next years class and I’m sure it’ll be around top 20 as well.

Still holding out hope he is their Butch Jones. So far things are going well on that front. Nothing but a bunch of promises and awkward answers.
