Surprised anyone is "bummed" with the bowl. . . just a few months ago, between the investigation and predictions, no one expected a bowl at all.

How quickly our fans become spoiled

Happy we're in a decent bowl. Somewhat weary of the matchup. Idk much about Purdue, but they always seem to have a knack for spoiling team's seasons. i.e. wins against Iowa and Michigan St this year.

So, you're saying you might be afraid of the competition? I didn't want us to play a cupcake in a bowl. We need to beat good teams

Purdue is a solid team. Beat MSU later in the year. 2 of their 4 losses are OSU and ND. 32nd in total defense this year.

They are a bad matchup for us. 8th in the country in passing offense and our passing defense is 103rd overall. And we won’t have Alontae. This will be a big challenge for our guys.

Tennessee fans drive in to Nashville watch 1pm game. Drive straight home after game. Nashville ain’t making much money off this game. Terrible bowl game in general. The least of my options. However glad to be playing in a bowl game.

MCB has always been second tier that weekend as is. The city loves to get its business, don’t get me wrong, but New Years Eve is the real money maker that weekend. With as packed as Nashville is that weekend, the businesses won’t be hurting. They will still get the pregame crowd at the bars and restaurants before the game and the hotels, if it’s like past New Year’s Eve’s anyways, will be sold out as is.

SEC apparently wanted the teams with the better records in Florida bowls. Arkansas, Kentucky, and Texas A&M.

Ole Miss vs. Baylor in the Sugar Bowl could be an entertaining game.

Baylor will give Ole Pi$$ more than they want. That team is tough as nails. It didn't take the players very long to take on their coaches personality. I will definitely watch this game.
