I still don’t understand why they’ve had someone like that with such a hate for UT hosting shows on the schools flagship station for so long. If it wasn’t for Wilkerson, nobody would listen.. except for maybe roger and steve

Goes beyond that. After the whole fans throwing stuff on the field thing against Ole Miss and practically all of the media pundits saying we are the worst fanbase in the world Hyams had on of those media pundits on his show. Brian was verbally against it. He thinks having a media guy come on your show as a guest who bashes the fanbase of the team that the show covers is a slap in the face of the fanbase.

You would think that Music City bowl would want two teams where both fan bases would have to travel and get a hotel to spend a few days spending money at various attractions around the city....but most of our fan base will just either drive up the day of or the day before.

That was my thoughts too. And we travel…heavily.

Yep. I’ve seen people post on here about how there are no Vol-loving media personalities in Knoxville. Brian Rice disproves that. Hyams is a self absorbed opportunist. He is never wrong in his own eyes and believes his takes are better than anyone else’s. It’s easy to here if you listen to just 5 minutes of his show.

Me and my buddy at work listen to Swain a lot on app. I’m a big fan of the VQ Prime show with him, Cade Mays and team. There has been some great insight on that show.

Tennessee fans drive in to Nashville watch 1pm game. Drive straight home after game. Nashville ain’t making much money off this game. Terrible bowl game in general. The least of my options. However glad to be playing in a bowl game.

I think Hyams is just a live action Eeyore, generally a glass half empty type guy. Adams, on the other hand, is the one that I think really wants to watch the program burn.
