Exactly how I feel. Why reward them for getting blown out? Plus we have already seen that game, let someone in and see what they can do. I remember the LSU Bama rematch for the NC. That was completely unfair for Bama to not have to play in the SEC championship game and rest and still get rewarded.
I remember when a one loss team could play for the title, but the loss had to be at the beginning of the year. Pick up your 1st loss in the last couple weeks of the season and you're out. I wish they would shun UGA for being smoked in the title game. They deserve it and other teams deserve their spot, especially considering their best win was over a 9-3 UK - a UK team who didn't beat a team with a winning record.

SIAP....
After landing Thomas, Tennessee moved up another spot in the team rankings Saturday night, taking another step toward the top 20. Thomas, a former Mississippi State commitment and longtime Vols target, helped Tennessee climb from No. 22 to No. 21 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.

Nobody wants to see Ga/Bama again. Ga got blown out. We know who is better. Don’t put them in. I’d much rather see them play Baylor
UGA fans all about that rematch. . . "let us play them again, right now, this defense won't ever lose like that again." Then someone chimed in, "bammer 51-21 instead?" 😆 😆

They think if they can have a month of prep, they can win. They forget that Saban also has a month of prep.

When the loss happens shouldn't matter. Completely agree that they don't have any quality wins though. ND doesn't really either though, and they're the only other team with 1 loss.

Baylor has a win over Ou and OK state. GA’s best win is TN, Arky, or KY. They don’t belong in the playoff

Baylor split with Oklahoma State and lost to a 5-7 TCU team. That’s 2 losses to Georgia’s 1 loss…and to Bama at that. If anyone has an argument it would be Norte Dame; but their schedule wasn’t all that tough. ND needs to join a P5 conference and earn their way in.

Yeah, I always thought that early vs late loss business was hokie, but it happened a few times.

Ga hasn’t beaten anyone. They got blown out to Bama who is already in. They don’t belong and nobody wants to see it

It doesn’t matter. OK state was ranked 5th. They ranked them.

On the flip side, 6 teams on Baylor’s schedule finished under .500, while only 3 teams on UGA’s schedule finished under .500.

I would love for Baylor to get in ahead of UGA, but the argument for that is not nearly strong enough.

If you lose your conference championship game, you should be out. Period. Especially if it’s a blowout. Baylor should be in over Ga. And if not, ND
Conference championships should be in and other teams with good records in tough conferences so that it's not just a few people's opinion of who "deserves" to be NC. That's why 4 teams allowed is ridiculous.
