I disagree in current set up. In most years, a 2 loss Big 10 or Big 12 team, is most likely not a better team than a 1 loss SEC runner up. Even though I’d love to see UGA get shut out of the play offs.

Now if we had a set up where they expand NCAA Div. 1 to 128 teams in 8 sixteen team conferences, and each conference champ goes to an 8 team playoff, I’d be all for it.
Baylor has a win over Ou and OK state. GA’s best win is TN, Arky, or KY. They don’t belong in the playoff

Barnes has the luxury of playing the hot hand at the guard positions. ZZ, SV, Chandler, Powell, and Bailey give him depth with 3 ball that we have not had in the past. All play early in game, but hot hand gets more minutes as game progresses.

Yeah and when some of the younger guys start to earn more minutes he'll just have more depth.

Quentin Diboundje & Jahmai Mashack both would have been getting more minutes for any other Barnes team than they get currently. Hopefully we don't see much attrition, cause Barnes has positioned himself to have a great foundation for next year's squad as well. Losing Bailey, Fulky and most likely Chandler with the rest able (and likely) to return.

Whenever they finally come back down to earth, Bama tears are going to taste as good as chocolate milk, granny's sweet tea, and Johnnie Walker...just imagine, if you can, what those tears will be like.

Until then, these will most definitely do.
Just now pouring some UGA tears into my eggnog. . . maybe we'll get some Bama and UGA tears for Christmas New Year's.

15 points on the road is a blow out though...Colorado is a good team, UCLA only beat them by 12 and had them at home we're their biggest lost of the season.

We're going to have a lot closer games than a 15 point road win the rest of the year. I think one way Barnes is trying to get them playing consistently is by being willing to sit guys that the fans often complain he shouldn't and play guys that are doing it the way he wants. This is the first year he's had the depth and talent to really do that and us not see the team drop off. So if Bailey makes a bad play he can pull him and the team won't have a huge drop off with whoever replaces him.

They seem to handle that thin air ok. That's not easy when you aren't use to it.

Would OU or OK State have the same record they finished with if they had played an SEC schedule?

Actually the better argument is what good teams did they actually play outside of those OU and OK State games?

If you lose your conference championship game, you should be out. Period. Especially if it’s a blowout. Baylor should be in over Ga. And if not, ND
Exactly how I feel. Why reward them for getting blown out? Plus we have already seen that game, let someone in and see what they can do. I remember the LSU Bama rematch for the NC. That was completely unfair for Bama to not have to play in the SEC championship game and rest and still get rewarded.

Completely agree. I'd rather Notre Dame in than Georgia. Since Notre Dame's only loss was a close one to the only undefeated team in the top 4.

Notre Dame’s playoff chances should always be handicapped until they actually have to play in a conference championship game.

I’d rather see anybody in but UGA, but there is not really a good argument for keeping them out.
