I'm sure the kid is good, but it hurts to read we're not chasing bigger fish. It inevitably leads you to wonder if the staff doesn't feel it can reel in the bigger fish. And if that's the case, why do they feel that way? We should be able to attract talent.
How do you know we're not chasing bigger fish? Maybe the bigger fish just need more than one year of film on this staff at UT. Just a thought.

I hope Willis turns out to be a stud but as mentioned, he had to work himself out of the hole he dug. And despite his high ranking, there were concerns about the level of competition he faced in HS vs SEC. No doubt his athleticism is probably better than Beasley but there’s a lot to learn to play inside LB.

Bs. You know how I know that’s bs? The fact that Milton started the season ahead of the others. Beasley dove at the ankles of the ky quarterback about 7 or 8 times during that game. Every single time the qb went for an additional 4 or 5 yards after contact. It was the most pathetic/cowardly performance I’ve ever seen out of a linebacker. To say we don’t have a linebacker on the roster willing and capable of taking on the quarterback up high is a joke. The qb should’ve been absolutely lit up over and over again in that game.

Lmfao. “They initially had the wrong guy at QB and then realized, therefore I know they played the wrong guy at Lb and never fixed it”

That’s your real argument right now

So is @butchna Ben Weaver? I kid. A curmudgeon on the surface, but soft on the inside............;)
