I would be remiss if I didn’t inform y’all that the Dabo Swinney buzz has indeed gotten pretty loud over the last 18 hours.

I’m not reporting anything save for that; I’ve heard eye-opening things from several credible people at this point. I don’t know if I buy it yet, but if Joe C were to pull that off, it’s instantly the biggest lateral move in the history of college football. Swinney owns two national championships and has been at Clemson as head coach for 13 years.

Again — I’m not reporting anything except that there’s some credible buzz. We’ve gotten to the point in this coaching search that it’s almost impossible to figure out what to believe and what not to believe. Nevertheless, it’s something y’all should be aware of, and it doesn’t appear to be mere message board fabrication. If it is a fabrication, it’s an intricate one.
