Call the cable company and ask if you pay for the cable to be installed to your house, would they do the installation and provide service. We have a neighbor that did that. They are maybe a quarter of a mile from us.

We tried. It's thru the power co.They said it's a different substation than supplies our house and they're not allowed.

Appalachian electric voted to provide service to everyone but decided to do those with other options 1st. Followed by a break and then.. those without options. Years from now.
Edit: ATT U-verse contract uses the same mapping.

My service comes in from the front of house. Here's a pic of power route (same for fiber) to neighbor's... Crossing the back corner AND stretching past my property. All to reach the gray one you can barely see on the right..

I mentioned this to someone yesterday- we may be seeing the downfall of Clemson right before our eyes.

They just had two kids - including a four star receiver (Frank Landsen) enter the portal. Their AD might be going to Miami. Oklahoma might be hiring Venebles away (a move that would really expose Dabo IMO). And they’re coming off a mediocre year by their standards in a weak conference.

There’s no Trevor Lawrence to mask their flaws.

A falling Clemson helps with our rise.
