Sometimes, in coaching, it's about how you impress the big money and the administration and not necessarily your on the job skills. It's similar to how Ryan Silverfield got the Memphis job- he was the OL coach and developed relationships with boosters and administration. The players loved him, too, so it's how he got the job. Not sure he was the best they could do.

He was the water boy for the boomer sooner horses. He is a blundering butch jones joke. I hope they do take him for the cheating basterds for years when I went to Colorado way back at the big 8 days deserve him

Only because of his last name and he is a RA RA coach and loud. Heup is soft spoken and doesn’t seek attention. SC didn’t look well coached except on defense. But most those players are from Champ and he recruited damn well especially on the D line. Let’s see what happens when those five and four stars leave on the D line.

I’m sure OKC has gotten better. It’s been a decade since I’ve been, it was just very mediocre and nothing stood out as a must see when I went. I whole heartedly agree about the parts of CA you listed though. Some really pretty views out in Sierra Nevada. Northern Cali is my favorite. Big fan of wine country.
