He was an assistant there under Riley until this year. Has a lot of people inside that program and boosters that love him and vouched for him to get the South Carolina Job. He is definitely a dark horse candidate there if they can’t land a big fish

Thank you sir/ma'am, I was not aware of this information. I can see why he would be mentioned to a certain degree now, but I would think Oklahoma could get a bigger name, at least currently? Of course, once they are in the league along with Texas, both of those programs will be "introduced" to just how difficult SEC Football truly is for all conference members.

At some point, Vandy just needs to realize they suck at football and give up the sport. It would allow the SEC to add another team.
They would only ever leave the SEC if they were kicked out.

Folks on welfare don't tend to call the government and tell them they don't want their checks.

And we scored 200 points on those 4 this yr hahah with a thin roster. Clark Lea seems as boring as it can possibly get. Imagine playing for that guy lol.
Yeah, if you couldn't get close to hanging with us in a year where we are depleted, limping into the end of the season, with a thin defense, and we still sped away from you. How are you going to shrink that gap in 1-2 seasons?

Leach always finds great assistants. Grinch is awesome too.
Not always defensively. In fact his defenses have traditionally been a liability. At Mississippi State it’s been a strength…specially this season.

So we all know that Heupel was fired by Stoops. But some OU fans claim that he fired Heupel bc he needed a scapegoat and wouldn’t fire his DC/brother, Mike.

I'd say there is very good evidence of that. The 2014 OU team averaged 37 points in Big 12 games (not including 48, 52 and 34 in OOC games) and overall 465 yards per game. Their defense gave up 29.3, which includes 7 to Kansas. They did only score 6 in the bowl game to Clemson. Trevor Knight threw 3 INT's, but Cole Stoudt for Clemson threw for 319 and 3 TD's.
