The only positive thing you can say about Vandy's year is that their players did not appear to quit.

That has to be worth a grade of C, tops, and that's really generous.

Huepel is heady. I gaurantee no one knows anything.

Facts are this. His family lived Knoxville, and are renovating a home of which they havent moved into yet.

Oklahoma's expectations to win are even higher than ours. OU will be a sinking ship in 3 years.

He likes Danny White. Easier to win in SEC East.

Logically there is no reason to move.

I mean he's played some clean ball and penalty free according to the stats.

That is not at all what I have seen from him. I don't think he has an effort or even a technique issue. I think he has a "physical limitations" issue that is not necessarily correctable. He is just very heavy footed. His balance is not good. I do not think he has the physical tools to be successful at the SEC level.

So we all know that Heupel was fired by Stoops. But some OU fans claim that he fired Heupel bc he needed a scapegoat and wouldn’t fire his DC/brother, Mike.

The on-field recognition was earlier this year, and they only listed the guys on the jumbotron who were there on the field, in attendance. There were a ton of players from that 2000 team, including Heupel, who weren't there and weren't listed.

Regardless, there is apparently bad blood between OU and Heupel though.
