I don’t really think it was about him. He’s trying to protect his players. It’s funny to watch, but I do agree with him that it’s sad that fans are critical if they don’t win by enough.

Their fans also understand that they are three deep in elite recruits at all twenty two positions and have zero excuse for not blowing every team they play not named Georgia or Ohio State out...and yet..

Those ka bar (Barlow) knives are worth in the hundreds I think.

Nice collection of stuff. Pretty good value in each item.

A bunch of those fans are probably also fans of other schools, trolling as Alabama fans on message boards and other social media. I see a lot of that on message boards of every team; a significant number of people who never seem satisfied no matter how well "their team" is playing. In the pre-internet era when we used to listen to games on the radio and read writeups in the local paper, the fans I knew were relatively happy with a good season and a decent bowl game. These days if a team doesn't win every game by a blowout, or even if they do, the internet criticism of coaches and players is absurd.
