The more I look at Jacksonville's situation, and their LOADED amount of picks for the 2022 draft, the more I think he may stick it out if they don't fire him.

Aside from that, I think he tried to leave and eventually left Florida because of the pressure and the fact that he built an absolutely unruly team there. 2 championships in 3 years is already best case scenario. Hard to match that in the Saban-era. Why would he go back?

Not necessarily in order, but I can give 4 names:

1 - Same ol’ regurgitated Bob Stoops. He’s our John Gruden. He’s be sought after since Spurrier left 20 years ago.

2 - Makes me wanna puke to even type this, but Lane Kiffin. I hated him with the fire of 7 hells the one year he was at UT, but we’d be guaranteed good offense, that’s for sure.

3 - People seem to like Billy Napier. I’m not sold but I can see that he’s got a great coaching lineage and has done a helluva job in his current job.

4 - James Franklin. Knows the SEC, and the biggest thing, he’s a helluva recruiter.

Speaking to a connected Gata, UF admin prob not going for Lane and his antics. They have some similarities to UT, in that they are all hands on to elevate academics and make UF the top public university.

Plenty of money but are they willing to spend it on football?

Didn’t have that much of an effect on Ole Miss recruiting and everyone here was terrified Kiffin was gonna steal all the ‘cruits.

It feels like they have a lot in common with Texas. Boosters & admin being too aggressive and needy, an insatiable fan base, and conference realignment could send UF down Texas' path. . . I have my hopes,
