In the video I seen, he never claimed to be an EMT. He showed his medi-pack and said he was there to help if anyone gets injuredThere were police there. Rittenhouse lied about being an EMT to remain on the scene. The trained professionals do not need this type of assistance, and will tell you so. Wanna help? Stay at home.
I think the judge has to play it straight no matter what day it is. Criminal court is wear the rubber meets the road and people can go to jail for a long time. I'd be just as opposed to this if this was a prosecution witness. There is a lot of scrutiny on these jurors, they don't need to be given the impression that the judge, the crowd, or the public support any particular witness more than they would any other. I dont know that it matters in this particular trial, but you can't have different rules for different trials.I would understand the point of it wasn’t Veterans Day
Kyle Rittenhouse was not a member of a well-regulated militia, such as the National Guard. Under what regulations was Kyle Rittenhouse serving that night? Rittenhouse's role was much closer to that of a vigilante, but even vigilantes can be acting in self-defense when they shoot people.
I see the point but like I said, it was Veterans Day and I don’t see no harm in honoring a veteran no matter the setting. Any other day or any other person, I 100% agreeI think the judge has to play it straight no matter what day it is. A well regulated militia doesn’t mean it has to be recognized. So “such as the national guard” holds no weight. A well regulated militia is basically any group of likeminded people.Kyle Rittenhouse was not a member of a well-regulated militia, such as the National Guard. I do see his point if it were any other day and any other person. He’s not calling for a mistrial that I know of, so I’m open minded enough to understand where he’s coming from. But the witness was a Veteran so it's all they have to grasp. Pitiful. You have to feel sorry for extremely mentally weak people.
Like I said earlier, I’ve been on the road so I haven’t been able to follow it as closely as most of you. I’m admittedly missing details as I only keep up from what’s posted on YouTube.Like I said earlier, some of you people will argue anything. Kyle Rittenhouse has admitted that he lied about being an EMT.
It is my understanding the defense witness was specifically identified as a vet because the judge asked vets to identify themselves, was the only one in the room, and was about to testify. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know. It may not have been intentional on the judge's part, but I believe it was inappropriate for reasons I've already stated, and its why a judge needs to stick running a trial. If he'd have been presiding over a county commission meeting, entirely different story. He ask for an applause for veterans because it was veterans day. A defense witness just happened to be a veteran.
It's an archaic term... which can apply wherever you want it to, based on perspective. A group of armed, like-minded, private citizens can also be called vigilantes.A well regulated militia doesn’t mean it has to be recognized. So “such as the national guard” holds no weight. Well..... whatever you call it, we need A LOT more of it. The left have had enough time to express their “feelings”. It’s time to say STFUIt's an archaic term... which can apply wherever you want it to, based on perspective. A group of armed, like-minded, private citizens can also be called vigilantes.
I'd say the only one that knows their intention was the judge. Just looking at it unbiased, one would have to say it was to honor a veteran on veterans day. God forbid that kind of thing goes onIt is my understanding the defense witness was specifically identified as a vet because the judge asked vets to identify themselves, was the only one in the room, and was about to testify. I'm not concerned about why judge asked the crowd to applaud the witness. I'm concerned that the judge asked the crowd to applaud a witness. I dont care if the judge said, "this guy makes donuts and everybody loves donuts, let's all give him three cheers."
