I want UNC in the Music City Bowl. I was at the last one when we got hosed on the Janzen Jackson call. We would beat them by 20 this time. That was the worst I have ever seen us get screwed by refs at a game I was at.

Edit.... in case you do not remember UNC had 4th and a mile and threw a long pass that JJ broke up. JJ got called for targeting. UNC scored and won

They also invented the 10-second runoff because of that game IIRC. We literally usher in new ways to screw ourselves.

Can in all honesty say this will get worse. One of my vendors has had 3 price increases this year and there is another coming in January. A standard interior door unti,door ,casing, hinges ,jambs we sold for mid 50s 3 years ago. Come January it will be around 115. Then it gets marmed up to builder or home owner...

I like it. A probation if you will. Let him start out with weak non conference teams, then Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri and South Carolina and eventually Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

As much as I want revenge on UNC, I'd rather have a Florida bowl. Win out and we either wind up in the Citrus or Outback, barring some other weird events. Assuming we go 2-1 in style, our ceiling is probably the Outback and that requires some help. I think the following results would optimize UT's bowl leverage:

- UGA, Bama & TAM all win out and wind up either in playoff or the big 6.
- OM loses to TAM & State
- The Barn loses to State & Bama
- Arkansas loses to LSU & Bama
- UK loses to Vandy

In this scenario no one outside the top 3 winds up better than 8-4. I suspect in this version of reality Ole Miss gets the Citrus, State gets the Texas, UK draws Mayo & we wind up in Tampa. The Barn gets Nashville, Arky gets Memphis & UF goes to Jacksonville.

Realistically, two teams likely wind up 9-3, UK & Ole Miss. If that happens and Arky & the Barn wind up 8-4, then pulling the Outback will be difficult. Bottom line, it's great to be having this discussion in year 1. Motivation for not thinking we've accomplished something yet is the knowledge that we should be 7-2 and looking at the Outback as the floor.
