There was rumors he was portal bound not that long ago but he’s been posting some positive Vols tweets recently so hopefully those rumors were baseless.

Yeah, hopefully Velus, Tillman, & Payton have pulled some of these young WRs aside and told them to just keep improving their game and their time will come. All 3 of them have patiently waited for their time and all 3 of them have flourished as upper classmen in this offense.



I mean Payton and Velus I think are both gone (no more eligibility). Tillman may leave early for the draft with how well he's done this season.

So next year your potential starters are Holiday, Calloway, Hyatt, Merrill, Keyton or new bodies. I'm not sure transferring out for Calloway and Holiday gives them a better chance to get on the field, unless they both transfer down to weaker team/conference.

Awesome! I get more excited about Saturday the closer it gets. I think the team really is more like a family now, and that is a big factor into the effort we are seeing from them every game regardless of the score or opponent.

we need Hendon Hooker to be a VOL next season.

If he’s back along with what we know is coming back and if we land a couple transfers at positions of need, a huge leap will happen. And probably will position ourselves as 2nd best team in the East.
