Congrats for real. Sounds like a buddy of mine that hits every time we go to a casino or gamble together. We've been 10 times or so and he's hit for over $200 8 times out of the 10. We went on a cruise he won the blackjack tourney and the slots tourney ($500 for each) and a cruise for the $50K grand prize but he couldn't go. When he gets hot everything he bets on wins big.
It's really crazy. Ive been thinking about betting a little for a while. Ive never gambled, but just thought it would add something to the entertainment value for me.

I'm pretty serious when it comes to my money, no matter how much we're talking about, guess cause ive been poor my whole life.

Anyway, I just planned to take the free $25 and bet $1 at a time until I got to $250, then $10 at a time, till I hit $2500, then $100 bets until $25k, etc. I figured I'd lose the $25 on the first few bets. When I hit a couple early ones, I bet way more than I planned on, because it was house money anyway.

Replace Malcom

I was curious about this stat as well. If I can clear up my schedule this afternoon, I wonder what the offenses look like if you take out the GA game. Does playing GA drop their rankings or are they pretty average offenses across the board?

Without any research at all I can tell you the first 4 offenses are terrible

Edit: actually I have no clue about UAB

None of those teams come anywhere close to the passing threat Tennessee has. If UGA's defense has a weakness (not necessarily weak, but the least elite part of their defense) it would be their secondary. Their front seven is so good that nobody has really had the chance to test their secondary. If the o-line can give Hooker time, then we might have some success. I have a feeling that Kirby is going to put heavy pressure on the o-line, much like they did in the second half last season, and challenge Hooker to beat them throwing over the top. I just can't see them sitting back and trying to limit big plays by keeping everything in front of them. They want to attack because nobody can match up with them up front and it produces turnovers and great field position for their offense. The o-line has to play their best game. I know our defense is a big concern, but I really think it comes down to the o-line to determine if there's even a chance to be competitive, let alone win.

Thing is, I think they can probably get pressure rushing just 3 or 4 on every play. We’ve given up a lot of sacks to much worse d lines. But if we can have some success, maybe we can keep those big fellas huffing and puffing and tire them out so HH has time to hit the explosive play

My thoughts on Yellowstone... spoilers below (i have a different theory than some others on here after watching the opening episodes)

I thought the first 13 minutes were awesome.

I am not sure who organized or did it, but I still have a thought it might be Malcom Beck. We kinda know it isn't Jamie - he leased the land instead of selling it (does that really get him off the hook?). We know it isn't market equities - really doesn't make sense since they need the government help to secure the deal.

I believe Malcom Beck is alive, he was saved by the militia when John left the field that night.

He is now the leader of the militia and out for revenge. They had the time to plan it and the guns and ammo required. Also the "party planner" from the episode in the casino totally looked like a militia boy.

Jamie's bio dad is also part of the militia, he used Jamie for information about the family and ranch and passed it onto the militia for the attacks.

It was odd that Rips house was burned down. That had to be personal - maybe from Jamie or from Walker?

Mo knows who did it and will bring that person to John. Can't freaking wait. That's the biggest cliff hanger from this episode.

Loved how Rip used the snake to kill Rourke. Genius.

I also just love Beth - I am the bigger Bear!!!

What happened to Monica and Tate? Where did they go?

100% the body they dug up was from the 1883 clip - buried with the steer they gave them for meat.

Jimmy getting injured sucked - I think it would have been better to die. Interested to see where they take this character now that they are shipping him off.

What happened to the little boy who John stopped to help change the tire for? We saw his mother get mowed down, but it looked like he hid in the ditch?

I’ve thought Beck might still be alive too. What you said about time to plan it makes sense. That was coordinated.

I don’t think it is separate vendettas. But that is a good point, something seemed personal about that unless they just thought Rip was there. The guys who shot John were on the way to the ranch and just happened to see him.

I’ve wondered if Monica and Tate are in hiding due to all that went down.

Also who did they capture and hang near the bunk house? Theyve GOT to show more about those lost two months. I was desperately wanting to see Rip’s reaction and revenge when he heard about Beth. Too much went down and left me wondering. Surely they’ll recap some of that.

I saw some far fetched hypothesis that Kayce is actually dead and only John can see him. Not sure Kayce interacts with other people post-recovery… weird! I see dead people

Totally agree. Can't wait to see more.

We can slow down a fast rush with screens and options.

I can’t believe John Dutton was eaten by wolves and Rip comes out as gay. Wonder if Beth can reconcile the governor lady actually being her mother too [spoilerrrrrrlolj/k]

Hmmm?! I went to rewatch yesterday, but my damn record wasn’t set, so will have to catch it again this Sunday. That last part has me wondering. Can’t see Sheridan doing that tho?!?

My biggest concern is that the offense's greatest struggles have been when pressure is coming up the middle and Jordan Davis might have Cooper Mays for a mid-afternoon snack on Saturday. If that's the case then there won't be any time for deep routes to develop.

Anyone listen to the recent Bleav in Tennessee Football podcast, with former Vol OLineman Kyler Kerbyson as host plus his annoying interrupting co-host?

Two things I thought was interesting …

1. I’ve thought Spraggins was playing really well but Kyler said he doesn’t have the mental part down. Said that twice he gave up sacks and both times Cade was coaching him up pre snap and Spraggins still messed it up.

2. On the Small touchdown, the play design was Small was to run to the left behind his blockers who were pulling that way, but Small had such good vision that he saw and opening and took it instantly.
I seem to remember Tim Irwin having some criticisms of Spraggins earlier in the year as well. He was always going to be a bit of a developmental project, but the size, talent, and nasty streak are there if he ever puts it all together.

I think Cade and Spraggins are going to make themselves a lot of money Saturday. This is our front's chance to show NFL scouts if they're NFL material.

What an abysmal showing to open the season. I wish we would have gotten Louisville’s coach or Mulkey or tried to get Staley to leave.
I have a theory about women’s basketball coaches. The uglier they are the more successful they are. The prettier they are the less successful they are.

There’s plenty of evidence to support this theory.

Rewatching the Kentucky game and damn will Levis is an emotional douchebag. He borderline taunts when he makes a play and throws a fit when a play doesn’t go his way.

I understand why AT and TJ made their comments this past week.
We clash on some of our views here, but you make some nice observations

I haven’t paid much attention to women’s bball but I was curious last night. How did a program like UT hire a coach that went 23-39 in ACC play? Like I get she did well at Missouri St but damn. And NC State got notably better after she left.
