Remember the 1st time that I took mine, you guys are in for a treat. The best part about bringing the kids - we adults can get caught up in the game, the little ones will appreciate every ounce of the atmosphere and it contagious.
Bring something for the ears, it. gonna. get. loud!
But most of all, have a blast.

I’ll never forget my first Tennessee game.

I was 8 years old. 2004 @ South Carolina. My moms side of the family had been taking me to USCe games for a few years by that point because they were season ticket holders there. My parents were poor so Dad couldn’t take me to UT games. I always hated being dragged to williams brice by my moms parents just to see them get their ass kicked.

My dad knew that, and didn’t want to see his son be a USC fan anyways. So he took a day off that Saturday, which he’d never done in my life to that point and decided to tag along for it. He surprised me with a Casey Clausen #7 jersey, and we showed up in all Tennessee stuff. My moms parents wouldn’t give him the tickets because of that. So my broke dad went to an ATM and scalped two tickets instead. I’m sure doing all of that made things tight for that month, but he didn’t care and it gave me the best memory of my life and made me a Tennessee fan for the rest of my days. I’m sure it was worth it to him.

Big weekend for the Vols. Homecoming on the Hill and SEC Nation in town. Now that we're upswinging, Finebaum is willing to claim us again. UT is beefing up security to make sure he doesn't get a golf ball to the head.

Mix in Jordan Rodgers, Gary Danielson and Marty Smith, and it'll be quite the day. I'm sorry I won't be there... but can't wait to see the signs. I trust they will be creative.

Hueple at press conference asked about TOP. Said he cares about it in times of the games when it matters. Like killing the clock at the end.
Also, said they change schemes/game plans each week to try and take advantage of matchups they like

I love this about Heupel...constantly scheming schematic advantages. I know that all coaches probably do this, but his seem to actually work when we go after their weaknesses...over and over again.

I saw this guy under the Spraggins thread: I don't know who he is but let's hope he's slow and lumbering and that's as fast as he gets.

I haven’t watched Georgia play, but that dude is in the Heisman discussion. I’m sure he won’t win, but that says a lot even being mentioned as a defensive player. He’s a load, and gonna cause lots of problems for our OL I’m afraid. Im sure there will be lots of time planning this week with what to do for him and the rest of their D to give Hooker time to make some plays.

Advice needed - we have 4 tickets in Section S, Row 20. My husband is a dawg and we’re bringing another couple - very very good friends who’ve helped us through some tough times and have been through their own tough times this year. They’re also dawgs so it’ll be me in orange and three people I love in red. Should I introduce them to whoever is around us?

No. They don't care about that. Not sure there's even a GA fan on the committee, if we're looking for a conspiracy...nor do they need to look any better being farr and away #1.

People overthink voters..."oh hey they WANT 2 top 25 teams" as if voters all work for ESPN/CBS/whoever is broadcasting the game...when they're really a bunch of random writers spread across the country (AP) or coaches (coaches) and all of then are very lazy. They just regurgitate the previous week's poll with +/- adjustments based on W/Ls from the weekend.
