According to an article I read, LSU is suspected to go after Jimbo. The article says Fisher can leave TAMU at no cost. You would think SEC ADs would have learned from our mistakes....
Makes sense. TAMU AD that brought Jimbo to TAMU is now at LSU

Also read an article earlier about replacing Mullen. One of the possibilities was Chadwell.

For me the biggest problem with the whole throwing stuff incident (other than that people could have been hurt) is that it effectively erases the officiating and fake injury issues as a point of national conversation. If that hadn’t happened, maybe there would be a lot of stink in the press about the D-TD callback or the fake injuries but as it is the clickable story is the misbehaving fans.

Sure, probably would not have made a practical difference in the grand scheme of things but maybe it would add to the overall conversation.

Yep - it was classic Milton. Panic, run right into your own blockers, turn around and run left, see a defender coming about 5 yards away, take off running down the sideline, realize you've already screwed up, run out of bounds. Perfect.

HB successfully went against the Candy D last season, which was about the same as the OM D this year and last. No Hooker, bad Milton, why such angst against HB? Dumb IMO. He hit 70.6% of his passes for over 8 Y/A with 4 TD's and 2 picks. He slides in the pocket and can get 5-6 yards when needed with his legs. The have to dumb the scheme down for Milton to do it badly. They can dumb it down for HB to do it decently if HH is out.
That vandy defense wasn’t close to the ole miss defense….. they had fired their coach….. using a female gimmick kicker…. They had quit on the season. Milton has definitely not been the answer so hopefully Bailey has taken advantage to improve as a player

We should do another fan driven statement. Like next home game, blackout the stadium to bring awareness to the officiating. Hopefully bringing the media to have to talk about it. The first Checker Neyland was fan driven. They even mentioned CleVOLander on the broadcast of this game. We need to keep pushing the narrative somehow.

Love this. Let Sankey and the media know well in advance.

Guys, this site has just become too much. I'm leaving.

Throwing stuff was wrong. They wouldn't have addressed the officiating no matter what. The fact the announcers just glossed over it as if making up crap on the spot was acceptable tells me that.

“Shoot, I’m into whatever our fans want to do on Saturday night for this one,” Heupel said after being asked about the Checker Neyland concept. “I think you want to play an exciting brand of football, you want to compete really hard, bring fans to the stands. I think we’re doing that right now. And then you want your fans to enjoy the moment, man. Saturday night will be a great environment, but need it to be a hostile environment.”

“We need to make it tough for those guys to communicate,” Heupel said. “Our fans understand that they play with tempo and in their communication, so we need to make it loud and make it uncomfortable for them.

A good article from Mississippi State’s frustration with officials. Mentions Curles’ suspension from 2009! His crew has a long list of bad calls. Also mentions the son of a Bama QB who is allowed to officiate Bama games. Made a crucial no call for Bama and did 4 Bama-MSU games. Just total corruption. All of these dudes have some connection to Alabama.
