If they ban crowds for this we should leave the SEC
I will do you one better: fans completely stop going to games.
“You wanna ban crowds for a game? Heck that’s not what Volunteers do! Like you said, Donde, we go for the gold! Let’s make it the rest of this year…and next!”

As sad as it is, Bailey would have been sacked I. The final play. Milton scrambled out of that but Bailey still processes he game too slow. It would have ended on a sack, IMO
Bro… no one was coming close to Milton. It was protected well. Milton panicked and ran into his own guy and the rush. If he stayed in the pocket and moved up, he has any easy throw to the end zone for a 50:50 ball. Bailey could have done that.

Dude he could’ve even fired a dart into the end zone and hoped it got batted up in the air or got a PI call.

3 seconds on the clock do-or-die play is one of the only times a QB has the green light to force it.
3 seconds and it is a certainty you have one throw. To scramble and think you have more time for a beyond belief. You know one thing… “this play is all I’ve got”

UT will put together a plan to show that the university doesn't condone the behavior and is addressing the situation. We'll over-atone and offer more than needed because that's the UT way. The SEC has been fine-happy about goal posts and undesirable fan behavior so we'll see. I doubt UT would push back on a fine-- even if other schools weren't fined under similar circumstances.
The fans should keep doing it so that the university keeps paying fines. Before long nobody will be allowed in the stadium except for the away crowd and recruits and their families lol. But hey, if they are only about money then this will be one heck of a way to get that numb nuts admin’s attention. UT fans truly are by themselves a lot of the time without the university being on their side.

Are you having a pretend argument?

Do you know if Ole Miss was fined when they threw things on the basketball floor when they played Tennessee?

Boyd and White have more to do with it then her. And she hired who she was told to hire behind the scenes, do you think she gets the booster money if she didnt have the ok to hire White and Heupel?

Sure…that’s just short-sighted. We needed a chancellor who was willing to hire a big time AD and go outside the family. She did it. Whether you want to say Boyd helped, that’s fine. But Boyd knows all of the big time people at UT, past and present, and they went outside the family.

You have to give credit where it’s due.

I see a lot of the usual suspects tying this incident into the Schiano escapade to create a narrative.

Ok. Why is it ok for the big, monied boosters at Auburn, LSU, Texas, etc. to run off coaches that they don't like and leak stories about their personal lives (see today's leaks on Ed O) to justify the firings but suddenly it's a problem when it's regular fans who want to make a power play?

My point isn't to make a qualitative judgement on any of these instances or even to make this a classist argument, but to point out that the passionate investment that is part of college football leads to crazy s*** like this everywhere. This made up narrative that UT fans are somehow worse is a joke.

Austin Price said Miltons play was the dumbest play he has ever seen in person.
